Handle cover helps several ways
I put a lot of pressure on my cane handle and hoped this handle cover would give my hands a break. It does but there are other advantages. First off, it isn't too hard to get the cover on the handle of my HurryCane. Took a bit of fiddling, but not bad.I am very fond of my HurryCane since it allows multiple heights, folds easily and stands up by itself. My knee injury requires me to lean hard on it sometimes, especially when I use it as an aid to rise from a chair, and the pressure causes my hand some distress. I have some carpel tunnel and the position of my hand on any cane aggravates it. The HurryCane's regular handle is a good ergonomic shape, but I hoped this cover would add extra cushioning that would help. While it doesn't make the handle actually 'cushy', it does add a bit of extra give that is more comfortable. It also adds bulk. Surprisingly, this is a good thing if you have large hands or arthritis or in my case carpel tunnel, because you don't have to curl your hand around the handle as tightly. Additionally, it adds a greater tactical quality since it is a sort of rubbery material. That adds security when using the cane as the handle is not at all slippery and gives you a really good grip. It also allows you to hang the cane more reliably on a chair back or door knob and it's less likely to slip off.The cover has rather a rubbery smell at first, but that wears off in time. I'm pleased with this purchase and would reorder.

Just 'okay.'
I bought this handle cover for my mom because she complained that the original handle on the HurryCane was to hard. Well, this is definitely softer but it's also much thicker, which then creates another problem. She has small hands. She decided to keep it and is trying to use it. It's to bad the company doesn't make a softer handle from the start. Also note: it can be difficult to put on. She had to have help. There's no way she could do it by herself. Would not recommend or purchase again.

Helpful cane
I had a HurryCane before and lost it. I like the new handle. Makes it easier to lean against things and not fall over. I think this one is more stable than my first cane. It doesn't stand rock sold, but after a bit of fiddling with it, it (mostly) stays upright. The cord is approved and I can fold the cane up and it stays together,

The HurryHandle
I had bought the "HURRYCANE", but not the rubber sleeve that goes over the cane handle. I have big hands so the cane handle didn't fit my hand to well, plus the plastic handle on the cane was a bit shinny, which made it slippery,so I sent away for this handle stretch rubber handle cover. It worked great, more control with the cane and I have a much firmer grip on the handle. My hand is full now,and walk with a better control of the cane. So I use a second cane to walk with, and sent out for a second rubber grip for my regular cane. It fitted that cane like a glove. Now I walk with confidence knowing I have a firm grip on my two canes. Just make sure that the cane you intend to use is shaped close to the picture one. The new grip stretches like an elastic. You will like it !! Good luck with it.

My new cane
I really like my new cane except for the fact that it does not stand alone as easy as I was expecting. It is always falling over and with a bad back sometimes it is difficult to pick up. The handle is very comfortable while using.

Great Handle
Put it on my mother's cane as her's had loosened with age and she loves it. Much cheaper than buying from HorryCane parts department.

Annoying
I bought this for my wife's HurryCane. She tried it and found it uncomfortable and annoying. It is now in the back of the closet.
