Thought I’d pay more for better quality, I was wrong! Worked great for the first hour then battery ran out. Plugged it into usb and never charged. Tried five different micro cards in it before it would recognise one. When it finally took a charge and I managed to get it switched back on the picture was foggy and it kept losing Wi-Fi connection. After numerous re-sets I finally gave up. A total waste of time and money. This is about the fourth camera of this type I have purchased and they all do exactly the same, don’t waste your time and money. I’ve sent it back for a refund.

To be honest I wasn't expecting much for the price but was pleasantly surprised. Firstly the camera itself is small, tiny. It's attached by a thin flexible ribbon about 6ibches long to a small control box and then thin wires from that to a small lithium battery pack and there's a nice little Ariel attached by thin wires to the control box too for good WiFi reception. The camera is very quick and easy to set up, just download the app and follow the instructions and you'll be up and running in no time, took me about 5mins. The app is easy to navigate and connects to the camera quickly and during the time I've used it so far there's been no drop off. The picture quality is far better than I'd imagined too, it's basically what you get from a smartphone and as good as some CCTV cameras I've had.

Easy to set up once fully charged, picture quality is very good and swaps between night and day quickly, good motion detection, very good for remote viewing, images are stored on an sd card with options to view in local videos, good option to turn off the camera when not neeeded, unsure if this saves on battery time. upgraded the battery to one with more life for longrer viewing-recording. very satisfied and much better than others types purchased in the past. worth the money, yes spent on similar cheaper ones and basically you get what you pay for.

I bought this for night vision but it isn't. Once the room light was turned off, it's pitch black.When the light is on and bright. Then you can see in colour.When the light is dim, you can only see in black and white.Definitely no night vision.Plus if not plugged in on charge, battery last upto 1hr or less if watching on the app. Which is pointless.

Update: I contacted the seller asking if there would be a firmware update to fix the issues below, and they advised that there would NOT be, so I wouldn’t advise anyone buys this as the faults are permanent.This camera has several faults that make it very difficult to recommend that anyone buys it in its current state:1. The camera randomly deletes videos from the SD card and only keeps at most the last 2 days of videos, regardless of the size of SD card used. (I use a 64GB card)2. It records 720p, not 1080p as advertised. Videos are 1280x720 resolution instead of 1920x1080.3. The level of MPEG compression is so high that in anything other than bright daylight the videos are patchy and mottled, and lack detail. This also causes the camera to fail to pick up smaller movements, so recordings sometimes look like their stuttering.All of these are fixable in software so until there is a new firmware that fixes these issues then I would recommend that you avoid this product.On a positive side, the seller support has been excellent. The 720p issue was attempted to be fixed in a firmware that they sent me, but unfortunately the deleted video and mpeg quality issues persisted. Hopefully they can resolve these issues, and if they do then I will update this review.

The lens is small and works very well the app is very easy to use and arrived on time. Unlike other micro cameras that all parts are built into a single struture, this camera has the lens on one end and the battery on the other.For me it worked very well, because I put the lens on one of the door and the rest on the other side., so I have a visually smaller camera, but depending on the place you want to hide it, it may no be the best option because there are many loose elements....I was great this type of camera.
