Great direct replacement
Great direct replacement for my 2005 4.3 Mercruiser. No issues so far!

Double check rear plate
There was no gasket sealant between the water pump and gasket, as well as between the gasket and the rear plate. Also, all of the bolts were loose.

It works
Bought it to replace the circulating water pump on my 2015 Axis T23 boat with the monsoon 5.7l. It's a perfect fit but you will have to transfer the water nipple at the top.

This was a perfect fit and gaskets and all line right up very good quality and excellent price

Not marine
It's just a trucks water pump painted black. Of course it will fit perfectly because mercruiser engine uses GM block use on their vehicles. The propeller it's thin metal, the back plate its not stainless steel, will rust really quick with raw water, will last few months, one season the most. Please check the propeller that it's thick brass. Don't cheap out on cooling parts. If you want to cheap out might as well get a truck water pump it's cheaper this one it's not marine grade.
