Signature Granulated California Garlic 510g

Don't waste your money on store-bought garlic powder this stuff is excellent. It offers better taste and better value for money and lasts forever. I bought mine in December 2020 and it still remains pungent and tastes wonderful. It is now time to replace and I will be buying another jar of Kirkland.

I often find that I am nominated chef. Much as I am OK with preparing garlic: peeling / chopping the ends off / dicing etc, it is a bit of a pain. Also, if fresh garlic is kept for too long it dries out and resembles a dehydrated Egyptian mummy, when you actually need it. These granules make life so much easier, yet still end up adding the same garlicky taste, as fresh garlic does. The only problem I have previously had with garlic granules is, that they must be kept very dry, otherwise it all turns into a solid garlic lump. So, ensure that after use, the two small flaps that allow sprinkling are tightly closed.

The garlic is ok , very nice but the delivery was terrible , my friend & her mother were in , the delivery person didn’t go to the front door to ring the bell , it wasn’t until I rang my friend after seeing the photo if she received it , she went to look for it , it was soaking wet , not a good delivery , this is the first time that happen & I am very disappointed , if I didn’t tell her to look lt could have been there all night & with the heavy rain it could have floated away

Has a very strong garlic taste and is great for use in Italian dishes or curries. My only disappointment was when mine arrived I only had 1 month before the sell by date so hopefully was just a one off and others get a lot longer as the jar is very big!

This is one of the best garlic granules we have come across. great for adding to anything. Great value for money for the size of tub.

Oh, this is good stuff!!! If you want garlic in your food and you're afraid to get it burned - this product is perfect and it has a great flavor, I'm telling you!!! I'm using granulated onion powder and garlic powder in almost ALL my pasta dishes now and the bowl is always empty when I take it to the kitchen to wash. This is a must-have item for me now.

I used to have to go to Costco to get this. Fabulous to just add a teaspoon to cooking rather than peeling and crushing garlic cloves. It is strong tasting and lasts a long time. Now I can but it on Amazon . Great 👍

Absolutely love it on all counts! It's virtually impossible to find garlic in regular grocery store chains that is not from China. Virtually all of the "brand name" garlic products clearly state they're a product of China, and one or two that were unclear were later confirmed by their respective company(s) to have been sourced from China. This is sourced and processed in the United States, and this is not just a "yay USA" opinion, but based on health and/or safety issues that have been documented by news and other reports concerning Chinese-sourced garlic. USA food processing and production isn't perfect, but I'll take it any day over most non-USA sources (my garden is my first choice, of course, but garlic powder this fine is a bit hard to create at home). Taste of this product is great! And while using a garlic powder obtained from a different "warehouse club" that turned out to be from China, I started having serious gastrointestinal problems that I verified were coming from the garlic powder. I ordered this product hoping that I had not developed some sort of body reaction to garlic itself - and it turns out it isn't garlic itself, thankfully (just the Chinese sourced product I was using previously). If Costco keeps sourcing in the U.S.A., we'll keep buying this product - simple! Thank you to Costco for making this product available on the retail market so those of us not near a Costco can benefit from it!

I really love this Kirkland garlic from California! I'd been using the big name brand that I recently learned came from China. I don't want to buy from there and I do want to support quality from the U.S., and reviews raved about this garlic and its source. I'd also heard that Kirkland products are high quality. The bottle arrived intact and I couldn't detect any garlic odor. When I broke the seal and the lovely fragrance wafted out, I was immediately impressed by how really good it smelled. It was rich and potent and I couldn't wait to try it. That very evening after dinner I threw out the big-name brand. And what a difference in the flavor! It's like fresh vs cardboard, the only way I can think of to describe it. I'm so sold. I will never buy the big-name brand again. This is sooooo worth it!
