Read this before buying..!
The sound quality, fit, comfort level and battery life all are good but there is a huge problem with jaybird earphones. Inspite of all the pros, please dont buy them. Here is why:These freedom stereo or freedom 3 earphones Died within 1 week of usage. I have bought this and freedom sprints as well( freedom sprint lasted for about 5 months) and both of them do not charge now. Their charging sockets get loose or battery die out after some time. The have pathetic build quality. Its all over the internet you can read the review on amazon USA site as well. Jaybirds are earphones with fancy packaging n cheap build quality. Also They donot have good customer support in India. So please dont invest ur time n money on any jaybird product..Very disappointed. Wanted wireless earphones badly but cannot do anything now..

Very happy with the headphones
I will say I was extremely dubious at first when considering purchasing these, as I have shorted out several "sweatproof" headphones before in the past. Having a set of headphones switching to call mode repeatedly when working out, or other strenuous activities, is one of the worst kinds of annoying. So for the cost, I approached this purchase with some hesitation.I couldn't be happier with them!1. As others have said, the Bluetooth connection was easy and seamless. I run an older version of Android on a phone at Bluetooth 2.2, so getting devices to work can sometimes be frustrating. After initially charging the headset, and turning it on, the initial pairing was about as smooth and easy as it can be.2. Sweatproof! With a bit of embarrassment, I will admit that I perspire quite heavily - and doubly so when working out. So far, at the time of writing this just shy of a month, I have found these still work perfectly. Other headphones by this time usually die or start the previously mentioned shorting out.3. The sound quality is pretty good. It can be tricky to get everything sounding "exactly" right - combination of adjusting EQ on your music source and fitting (see #4) - but once you have it locked in, the sound is crystal clear.4. Fitting can be a bit of a challenge to find the right combo between plug sizing and ear grips. But that is also one of the major pluses to these headphones - you can get them right for you. The headphones come with small, medium and large "buds" and small, medium and large ear grips. Once you have figured out the right sizing, the headphones not only sit securely during an active workout, but also block most of the ambient distracting noises. The headphones also come with a set of over-the-ear clips that you can use for additional securing to the ear if need be.5. Battery life is pretty good. In the month I have owned these, I have only charged them 3 times following the initial charge, and have yet to fully drain them even after an hour workout and then watching a 3 hour movie on my phone. After that charge, it was a little over a week of an hour a day of use before I felt the need to charge them again. When the charge drops, you will notice that the range drops significantly (see #6).6. The range for these kind of amazed me. I know others, as well as the product literature, have stated about keeping your phone/music player on your right arm for best results. Having used this on both my bike, and elliptical, where my phone was in front of me, I have had nary a glitch in the sound. On a full charge, I was actually able to walk a good 25 feet away before the signal cut out. The only time I have noticed an issue with the distance is when the battery has run low (not out) and walking with my phone in my hand - it would cut out a bit on the arm swing. There are a few downsides though7. As others have noted, the charging cable is short. Very short. And does not come with a wall plug of any kind. So if you need any kind of distance to plug it into something, you might be out of luck. However, I found that it does play nice with my phone charger (USB plug type) and my car lighter adapter - both working just fine to recharge it. Most of the time though, USB ports are ubiquitous enough that this is not really an issue.8. People I have called have a hard time hearing me through the headphones if there is a background noise like a fan. The other complaint I received is the standard "you sound hollow," type. But for short conversations, it works decently well. In my book, this is not a deal breaker, since when I am working out, I really don't want to talk with anyone anyway. One other thing of note - register your headphones when you get them. The sweatproof warranty lasts for 2.5 years (or 500 hundred charging cycles, and the defect warranty lasts for one year.EDITED - August 25th, 2014: I have now had these headphones for four months, and they are working as well as they were on day one. I use them both when cycling (at low volume of course - use with caution, safety first) and while on an elliptical trainer; in both situations, the headphones work flawlessly quite a reasonable distance from the phone - usually in the range of two feet and seem to be impervious to sweat. Take the time however to make sure you are using the correct ear bud and insert, as it makes all the difference in comfort and sound quality.EDIT 2 - December 19th, 2014: The headphones died on me after normal use. Trying to get an RMA for them so far is a pain in the rear, with support emailing a bunch of "suggestions" first that have no relevance whatsoever to the stated issues. Good headphones, poor customer service.EDIT 3 - January, 2015: Jaybird swapped out the headphones on an RMA. Getting the RMA was the easy part, getting to the point of getting the RMA was hard. The returns portion of the Jaybird website doesn't work, so you are better off just using the live chat function of the website. Once I had gotten a hold of someone through the chat, it took only 5 minutes to get an RMA approval. Unfortunately, this model was no longer in production, however the people at Jaybird swapped it out with the newer version of the Freedom Sprint headphones. I am still very satisfied with the quality of the headphones, and highly recommend them!
