Fantastic airbrush for the price.
The Neo for Iwata CN is a great all round airbrush. Well machined from quality parts it really is worth the few extra pounds than the cheaper no brand versions.Capable of a wide spray pattern for basecoats or fine lines when spraying close in with well thinned paint it does everything a hobbyist needs.Stripping it dowon for cleaning is a quick and easy process, just be careful when removing the nozzle with the supplied spanner as the nozzle is tiny and would not take well to being overtightened.Nice touches are the interchangeable paint cups and lid for the larger cup.A great all round product at a very cost effective price point.

Superb value for money
I'm not a pro, I have very little airbrush experience and started with a plastic one in a leather repair kit. Bought a sub £20 one and found it better but still clogged all the time and no range of control of the tip or spray pattern really. Read some reviews on here of this and thought ok spend a bit more seems worth it. And it really is. The build is great, weight is half that of my other metal one and the control and spray pattern is amazing! I'm used to using full size air guns on my car and the way this air brush lays down paint is exactly like that. The spray is perfectly uniform and each 50/50 pass you see the paint going down perfectly even on the overlap. I'm so impressed with this device. It's not crazy expensive like some of the high end ones but the results really are first class.

Suitable for beginners
I have no doubt about Iwata airbrush, as many professionals say it is good in quality. And I also find it is user-friendly, for example, the simplified design makes it easier to clean compared to other cheap products. In addition, the trigger for paint flow is smooth and easy to control when you`re doing a detailed work. Its 0.35mm nozzle makes this airbrush applicable for variety of purposes as it is just between 0.5mm standard size and 0.2mm high-precision size nozzles. Moreover, this Iwata airbrush is inexpensive, can`t believe myself using an Iwata airbrush as a beginner. It comes with two paint cups for different paint applications. Good deal.

My second Neo and couldnt recommend it highly enough.
I already had a Neo and found it to be excellent. When my wife said that she too would like to get into airbrushing i decided that it would be better all round and also save a lot of arguments if i got her a neo of her own. The neo is probably the best airbrush for begginers and pro's alike for under £100, would recommend 100%. I have tried a number of Chinese airbrushes both gravity and syphon feed that came with the two air compressors that i brought and they are really only fit for spares, the neo is a great affordable alternative as they are very well made and have a much smoother operation and feel.If you are new to aurbrushing like my wife then make sure you get to grip with regular cleaning of your neo (especialy if you are using watered down acrylic). Flushing a neo through with water, window cleaner and water again every 2 minutes or between colour changes will keep your neo operating like new.

Fantastic item for novices
For a true beginner, I recommend getting a cheap copy that you'll probably damage while cleaning. But once you know what you're doing, this is perfect for hobbyists!Fairly easy to clean - for an airbrush, I mean and it's a quality item. For true beginners, do check out some tutorials first as these are very sensitive and require patience and dedication.Went Iwata once, never looking back!

Been using this for a year now
Yes It's a great starter airbrush. It lends itself out to being able to spend on cheap 3rd party nozels and needle sizes. However the drawback is that at this price for a beginner air brush yoou would expect replacement parts would be cheap, as yes parts do degrade over time and mistakes can be made learning. They are not cheap like other moodels from other makers. Its great however once you have brought that brought another sized branded needle and nozel and have to replace certain other things that degrade over time it makes you think is the price worth it over time, vs buying something that is double the price but their parts are more then half the price of Iwata replacement parts.

Good all rounder but i wouldn't advise it for beginners.
This item doesn't have the adjustment screw on the back that limits how far you can pull back the trigger mech. Skill is needed to be able to balance how much paint is released, one slip or slight heavy handedness will have you emptying the tank at full speed. If you have mastered the control of the trigger then this won't be an issue but as this is generally considered as a starter airbrush then most won't have the necessary skills.Regardless of this i found it really easy to use and control and is really easy to clean and disassemble. The internal parts are bronze so shouldn't rust compared to cheaper chrome/nickel plated alternatives. It has no spare needles or nozzles included and it feels like a 0.2 or 0.3 needle that comes as standard. No air compressor or accessories are included in the box so you will have to buy these separately. Replacement parts should be easy to obtain. It looks like the ones fitted are a common size and similar to the parts i got in my starter airbrush kit last year.In summary i would suggest this as a cheaper alternative for a semi skilled user but as a first timer i would probably reccomend buying one of the cheaper kits on offer. As it happens the adjustment screw on my old cheap airbrush fits perfectly on the end of this airbrush and so does the quick release and air control mech making it become a perfect starter airbrush bordering on a semi pro, in my opinion.
