Acerbis0013046.030 Dual Road Handguards, Black

Bought these after checking out quite a few others. Glad I picked these ,simple to fit and good quality. Warm hands on my Bandit 1200. Some say there expenses I say there worth it.

These are easy to fit, screws into the end of the bars and has various sized inserts to help.The guard is fairly sturdy, definely need to check the fit for your bike, my Zero has trouble with the guard fouling the brake lever so had to have these sit higher than I'd like.Wind protection is minimal if any, I feel these are more for protecting the levers from damage and I think these would do a great job at that, I just hope I don't find out!

Great product but sport bike owners please take note that these will restrict your full lock capabilities. I was after something to deflect the worst of the cold wind which they do. They also deflect a good amount of rain which means dryer gloves for longer. I have ignored the full lock issue as they offer so much more. Going to get the LED inserts and wire them to my indicators next.

I fitted these handguards to my Suzuki SV650 but there's a major problem, they only fit a handlebar with an internal diameter of about by 14mm! My bog-standard 22mm O/D handlebars have an internal diameter of 17.5mm and I could only fit these handguards because I had a couple of spare 17mm expansion shims from a set of handguards off my Yamaha Tenere 700. I really can't understand what motorcycle handlebars Acerbis expect these handguards to fit, but most bikes are going to need an expansion shim to get them to fit properly, so factor that in if you buy a set. On the upside, I wasn't too sure about the looks, but once I fitted them to the bike they looked stylish and neat looking. They're made from a robust plastic and should last, and they're lightweight. They come with three sets of spacers, but I didn't fit any. They also solved a problem on my SV650 because it has narrow bars and not much room, so many other handguards, like my adventure handguards wouldn't fit, but these attach at the ends. I've not tried them yet, and spring has just arrived. They should offer some protection, and with my heated grips I should be good to go for next winter. They're good, but I just wish Acerbis would provide the correct fittings for ROAD bikes in the box, so they lose a couple of stars for the extra expense!

Very pleased ordered on Sunday delivered Wednesday fitted today to my MT07. Took 10 mins to fit. I do not have Std clutch or brake levers. Would suggest to put the 10mm fitment on the throttle side as the others tend to make the throttle stick open. But overall very pleased.

Good fit for Honda NT1100

Great bit of kit. Keeps the wind off the hands in the winter. Fitted in less than half an hour. You do need to use two out of three of the spacers on both sides to get them to fit if you have standard levers on a CB1000R
