Very easy to assemble and bottom plate sits flat (so screw at bottom does not stick out and make plate wobble). Looks really great when assembled. Middle and top plates do wobble when you shake them but I guess that's normal for any stacked plates (and one should not shake them vigorously anyway I guess) - is ok for intended purpose holding cakes etc. My top plate arrived with a scratch so I contacted seller and they were great and promptly gave me a refund...they said I did not even have to return it as it was damaged glass and I should dispose of it safely. Will buy from them again.

I would not recommend this product at all. I usually do not write reviews but I have been so irritated by this that I felt the need to warn others that this product is not of acceptable quality. The cake stand arrived with deep visible scratches to the glass plates. I informed Amazon and another was sent out in good time. However, this also has many scratches and defects to the patterns on the plates that I have no choice but to return this and ask for a refund. Due to the returns policy I will have to pay for postage (other than £3.30 that will be reimbursed) as I will have to return via the Post Office as the other methods are not convenient to me. This was a very annoying experience and has put me to a lot of trouble for something that could have been so easy. I suppose I should adhere to the old adage of 'you get what you pay for' - do not be fooled by this product.

It's small, but would take maybe 7/8 cupcakes or muffins. It's actually pretty good for £8, but it wobbles as the screw on the base protrudes. It does come with cheap rubber feet to attach, but as they are so cheap, they don't stick properly and aren't big enough.Basically it wobbles and that's not ideal for a cake stand.

I'm always of the opinion that you get what you pay for! I consider this cake stand to be just that!! It's very heavy when full of all the afternoon treats but if you hold onto the bottom plate, that's fine. The glass plates are lovely and when they are adorned with all the lovely sandwiches', cream scones and cakes; the presentation is wonderful. The stands were everything I was hoping they'd be and the delivery was very quick. I love them!!

Has a few black stains on plates but very pretty!

Perfect for the job we had in mind of serving shell fish. Has to be dismantled for washing and storage in the delivery box. Good product.
