Thanks, Wholefood Earth!\n \n","reviewBody":"Rosemary goes well with almost anything with canned plum tomatoes and/or tomato paste in it, and they are both regulars in my kitchen. The Wholefood Earth package also suggests breads, potatoes and vegetable dishes. So I have some experimentation to do! This sounds good.Certainly, the Wholefood Earth sample I received smells good. It is finely and evenly chopped and has a ‘Best Before’ date of April 2025, about 21 months ahead of when it was delivered. ‘Origin: Morocco’.It comes in an all-plastic pouch that Wholefood Earth says is ‘Eco-friendly and fully recyclable’. It doesn’t say so, but is – I think – a candidate for the ‘Soft plastic’ skip at a supermarket, rather than the box of harder plastics collected from home. The label is paper and can readily be peeled off for recycling (from home) with other paper.The best part of the packaging may be that it has a built-in reseal strip towards the top. I don’t always get on with those – sometimes end up cutting them off sticky things like dried figs – but this one works well. Additionally, the pack stands upright on its own base, looks good, and even feels nice. I more or less feel the same words I wrote on my other review apply here too in that Wholefood Earth's Organic Ground Allspice is certified organic and GMO-free. Rosemary has so many uses but especially the whole herb as it comes from the plant, fresh or dried, with an attractive appearance and taste. The product received looks more like sweepings, closer to powder than the regular herb.
