Community project book
This is an interesting book which as a lover of Cas Holmes books have found this one alittle harder to get into. However, it is something I am really interested in and am sure that once I stop flicking through it and study it properly it will be a great book with lots of tips positive and negative to help projects in the communty work well.

Mostly for the prospective exhibitor.
I bought this book because I like Cas Holmes style of work and wanted some tips. However, as other people have said, a large part of the book is taken up with how to work with other people and put on an exhibition. Should have read the reviews! Not for anyone wanting to learn about techniques. Nice cover and illustrations though.

Disappointed
I bought the book on reading the five reviews, plus with happy past experience purchasing previous books by Cas Holmes. The first quarter of this book has some good ideas. However, if you are not intending to hold an exhibition of your work either on your own or with a Group then the remaining three quarters of this book is not for you. If you are new to exhibiting your work then the information how to hang your pieces, grouping pieces of work etc is for you. Please Amazon to avoid misleading on contents, more books you can take a look inside. Sadly I am returning the book.

Not quite what I expected - thought there would be a lot more advice about setting up a group. Very interesting nevertheless.

Interesting book from a different slant.
This is a very interesting book containing lots of useful advice about collaboration that I'd not come across before - and some that I had. It is certainly worth buying if you stitch with a group and sometimes find yourself involved in group projects.
