Very good quality cable and contacts that fit and connect perfectly to the components (amp and CD player in this case). Contacts have protective caps too. Great value in my opinion.

Purchased this for a Wiim Pro and smsl su-1. The lugs on the cable are not sufficient to clip the cable into the sockets. Consequently the cable can slide out very easily. TBH I'm not convinced this cable makes any improvement to the sound, in fact I think the one that comes with the Wiim may be better possibly because it clips in better.

What I assumed was a faulty cable end turned out actually being a slightly damaged optical port on the LG soundbar connected to the huge smart TV in the front room in the lightly used 5th wheel we just bought. Whoever installed or worked on the entertainment system wiring for the 2 indoor/1 outdoor Smart TV's, both of the Winegard Rayzar automatic rooftop antennas, and the Winegard/Direct Traveler fully automatic satellite dish were all working sporadically, never predictable, always a major headache for me when all I wanted to do was to sit down and watch a little tv after a trying or exhausting day, relaxing, that's the key word here. I rewired it all, but ended up using a bit of the two-part putty to stabilize the new optical cable that's connected to the damaged port. Sound works great again! The other devices and systems work great now and they're dependable. If they're not working there's a different reason.

Nice enough cable, and the connection seems solid. But... I'm not a fan of this really stiff nylon braiding that a lot of cables use. It's so stiff that it makes it a little difficult to route properly and will actually push back on light weight equipment (I'm using this on a small CD player that sits on top of my gear). I prefer a softer flexible cable.
