Black Iron Log / Coal Tongs

Arrived today so set it to work, great for coal fires very sturdy a bit weighty which perhaps is a good thing, and a wee bit tricky for my small hands, however it’s well worth the price would highly recommend.

Good item much better than the thongs that come with a fire side companion set. Only down fall is difficult to grip when using fire gloves

Do not buy these!! They are flimsy, badly put together, dreadful quality and don't open enough to deal with larger fuels. And if you want to return them they will charge you postage!! Rip off.

I'm very pleased with the quality and appearance of these coal/log tongs. They're heavy, well made and work well!

The tongs were well formed but the pivoting pin is too weak and tongs twist when picking up coal or small logs. Thinker pin required. Will not purchase again

These tongs are extremely well made, heavy and grip Taybrite ovoids very well indeed. I consider them to be amazingly good value.

They are well made and feel solid, does what I need from a good set of tongs.

the bad thing about these is they do have sharp edges so I have had very sore hands after using them, and they are heavy, but they are the perfect job for moving coal, bricketts and wood, so we are delighted with them. so - does the job fine, just wish no sharp bits, maybe could have been finished a little better
