Interesting good book
Good hard back book with some interesting recipes which look easy to follow. Just needing a starting point with T2 diabetes

This is a very good book with plenty of super meals designed for diabetics
This is a very good book with plenty of super meals designed for diabetics. It isn't a 'meat and two veg' book thank heavens, but one with a wide range of tasty food. Each meal is well documented with all that a diabetic's wife needs to know!! It makes choosing meals so much easier, and takes away all the 'guesswork'. Thinking about it, it's a good book for a non-diabetic as well.....

Use of sweeteners.
Family member diagnosed as pre-diabetic so we're reviewing our eating habits and purchased this book to assist. Not at all inspired by recipes - too chefy - and the use of sweeteners in both sweet and savoury recipes. I can detect replacement sweeteners or faux sugars readily. Saccharin, stevia, etc I can taste them all and all of them leave me with a lasting cloying mouth sensation. Yuk! The book has been returned.

Revelation!
I cannot speak highly enough of this book. As an avid cook....I ended up diabetic. This book totally changed how I viewed food. Without exception, the recipes in this book have what has become known as the signature 'diabetic taste'. Broadly translated this means unprocessed, lighter, little fat, no sugar, low to no dairy, wholemeal pasta, no salt. Everyone in the family loves these recipes. Very grateful to the authors. Thank you. As an almost aside, blood sugar far, far more healthier.

Great easily understood advice.
I have type 2 diabetes and found this book easy to follow as I am a novice cook. Good recipes and pictures to show how the food should look when completed.

Excellent book. Lots of recipes for type 2 diabetics.
I wanted a book for my husband who has just been put on stronger meds as his blood sugar is not responding to his current medication. He has already gone through this book and marked all the recipes he likes. We will try them out soon.
