Great Multi-Purpose Applicator!
I love these sponges. First, I use them for 3 purposes. I use them to apply powder/liquid makeup. I have found that it applies light and evenly. I also use them to take the oil off my face during the day. Finally I use them with my facial cleanser at night to exfoliate the skin. Note, I use separate sponges for each purpose. Only use makeup sponge for makeup, cleansing sponge for cleansing, etc. All in all it's a great product. I buy them regularly.

Great sponge
This is by far my favorite makeup sponge. I use it for putting on my foundation, powder and oil absorption. It’s even good for removing makeup.

Product
Love them. Used them for years. Last a real long time. Takes a bit to break them in.

What I wanted but too pricey for just one
Been trying to find these particular sponges for my 80 year old mom because she has used them for decades and prefers these better than the new foam-like sponges they sell today. My only issue was paying nearly $6 for one sponge. That's ridiculous!

Too abrasive-
Too abrasive. I was looking for a rubber sponge, which I like to use to wash my face with. But this is so abrasive, I don't think it should be used for make-up, or anything on the face.I used to be able to find a red rubber sponge at the beauty whole sale stores, and it wasn't abrasive- it was just an ordinary red rubber sponge. I can't find them anymore.
