A super read - short and no-nonsense (written by an Aussie Corporal!), it sheds light on a remarkable chapter of World War 2 that few people sadly know about. A worthwhile read, it brings home the huge efforts to get nearly 100 POWs across occupied Slovenia to freedom with the help of the local partisans.

Great true story about a brave man who escapes and returns to free his pals. Brilliant!! Ralph Churches i take my hat off to you!!! RIP

Very interesting especially as my Dad Ronald Wollaston was one of the escapees. I am surprised it wasn't written about before as it was quite a dramatic escape. The book is well written.
