What is the difference between the canning scoop and a kitchen ladle?

You will need a few ladle full to fill up a jar and then getting all the jars to have the same amount get s a bit tricky while with the scoop, 1 or 2 scoop would fill up your jar and as it has measurements on, all jars will have the same amount.

Yes and yes. But please only on top shelf. And please be careful of the "lid lifter" as the magnet is not rust proof and needs to be dried soon as the wash is complete to prevent rust.
