Occasional use only..
If you have a small run of hole punches in leather or faux material, then this very basic tool will do the trick...but don't push it...it's cheap and cheerful...but it does the job.

For the budding crafter
Ideal, will punch thin plastics and card as well as leather. Good sized hole for sewing thread. Comes greasy, needs cleaning before use, rust prevention I expect.

bent on first use
Waste of money, the punch pin bent over on first use on a thin piece of card.

Poor quality, broke easily.
I bought this to make an extra hole in the strap of a pair of shoes. The 'pin' bent in on itself straight away even though the strap wasn't thicker than a watch strap. Don't waste your money. Pleased to say, full refund given.

Not strong enough
It didn't work for me, too soft so will not perforate the metal leaves I was working with

Bad quality
It went backwards in the first attempt to make a hole on a 0.8 mm of Silver sheet! I want to return this!

No hole to big
I bought it to do some sewing on leather and I started off using an awl but it made the holes to big so purchased this and now regular sized holes and a lot less effort to use thankfully so I personally think it is great and well worth purchasing and it is pretty small so it is out the way when not being used so you can put it to one side without it being in the way but close.
