Saved me some money
Instead of buying new cables, I just put a new end on. I've used this crimper a couple of times, and it works. It's solid, and works correctly. Lining up the wires in the new plug is difficult, but that has nothing to do with the crimper.

Great value. Works well.
Just started executing my own cables. This seemed like a much less expensive alternative to what the warehouse home improvement stores were offering. Worked well and I made a 50 ft. Cat 6 cable to network my smart tv. Worked well with no prior experience in using.

- Only downside is that it's not the best for CUTTING a long strand of CAT 5/6 cable ...
The price is really what makes it a 5 star product. There is one small downside, but I'll get to that later.- This will crimp down with all the force needed to drive in those prongs from the RJ-45 head into the cables. I have yet to make one cable that had an improperly pinned down prong.- The stripper to pull back the cable's sheath works 95% of the time. The 5% I chalk it up to the interior cables being to close to the sheath, or me putting too much pressure down on the crimper. Either way, it would unintentionally cut one of the cables inside the CAT 5/6 bundle.- The built in cable trimmer works perfectly. I have not had any issues thus far using it to trim the interior cables within a CAT 5/6 bundle.- Only downside is that it's not the best for CUTTING a long strand of CAT 5/6 cable prior to wanting to trim/crimp it. The reason being is that that the little diagonal bar prevents you from "feeding" the cable in after the fact. You have to strand the cable through that whole area, which is a tiny bit tedious. Just use some other cable cutters to get that job done. I know that this is inherent in the design of a ton of cable crimpers, just wanted to let people know that it exists in this one too. No stars off for just that, though.

but the cut tool is a little on the sad side. One thing to note
Works well. I know you buy these for the crimp tool, but the cut tool is a little on the sad side. One thing to note, you must push the connector all the way into the slot as if you're pushing it through the other side. It must be as snug as possible for it to crimp correctly. I ruined a few connectors because of that. It could be my inexperience, but I have used other crimp tools without issue. I will say once you get the feel for it the tool works well!

Good crimping tool
The tool was sturdy and well made. It was fairly intuitive to use and made the work simple. It worked effectively and helped me shorten several Ethernet cables inside an electronics cabinet in my hall closet.

Great tool for a great price
I bought this because it looked identical to one that I’ve had for years and wanted a new one to retire my old one. One thing I really like about this one compared to my other two I currently have is the grips, this one has a good rubber feel in my hand that I think is a huge plus.

Comfortable, my pair needed a small "adjustment"
This crimp tool has a nice smooth action, generally solid feel, and a comfortable grip. There are however two things I've experience that lead me to a 3 star review. First, it seems possible to push connectors too firmly into the crimp tool so that the locking tab engages inside the tool. When this happened to me, It didn't impact crimping, but it made it very difficult to remove the crimped connector. I had to get a very small (eyeglasses type) screwdriver and pry out the connector by pressing the screwdriver onto the locking tab from the front of the connector to free it from the tool. Also - there was a small plastic boss (tab) on one side of the tool that was bent slightly into the path of the jaws preventing the tool from fully closing. Breaking off this very small tab seemed to solve the problems, and all subsequent crimps had no issues.
