It is a good product, wish it had worked for us
The product seems to be good. I have a 4 weeks old baby boy and he has so much gas, and tummy pain that the gripe water did kind of solve it.. he wasn’t in pain anymore but he still has a bit of gas. Unfortunatelly it did not work for us.. as my little one started vomiting from the gripe water.. it started slowly to increase the quantity and then he was having proper projectile ones. And it was all after administering the water.. we tried all ways possible.. we’ve put it in his formula - no help, we’ve tried it 30 mins after feed -no help, before feed- same. Nothing helped with his vomiting. We had to stop and go back on Infacol and lots of crying, rocking and comforting when tummy hurts.

Do NOT give to young babies.
My 9 weeks old started vomiting for 2 days soon after taking it, and even lost weight.The doctor told me never to give anything to such young babies other than milk. They should be at least 4 months old.

Bad product - please read
This product is pretty vile and acidic, taste it yourself and you will find it is extremely distasteful to an adult let alone a baby. My 9 month daughter can eat anything we throw at her but this is literally the only thing she has ever rejected when she was going through a hard time. We thought we were doing what was right and gave her LESS than the recommended amount and within 10mins she vomited in a way I wish never to see again. This has not happened with any other brand of gripe water. Similar thing happened with the night time variation. Avoid.

Didn’t work for me but may work for you
I have a 4 week old baby and since birth she’s had terrible colic and gas pain. I had her on infacol and Weleda granules for the last three weeks and it deffinetly helped but I just didn’t realise how much it helped since switching the infacol for gripe water. The first 24 hours off infacol and only on the gripe water she was sick, coughing, legs shooting out, not burping with feeds, unsettled, screaming. Now I’m not saying it was the gripe water that caused this but I think we’re just sticking to the infacol now and the Weleda granules as that seemed to have worked for us. I think maybe this is still too strong for my baby even through it says 2+ weeks on the bottle, I will keep this as an emergency if I need to through the night to put it on her dummy to help her when she’s struggling but I will not be continuing the dosage with it. For the price I am pretty disappointed I was hoping this would be a miracle and cure my babies colic but didn’t really do much but settle her for 1 hour then she was in agony again.

Absolutely Swear by this for settling my baby
Money value expensive but it’s worth every penny for us. It works every time for my baby and i’ve been using it since she was a few weeks old. It doesnt have Maltitol like other gripe waters so it doesn’t cause a runny tummy! When colicky this really was a life saver. I’m still using it for her now at 7 months, far less than I did, but now she’s weaning, it seems to help settle her wind when she’s tried new foods and had a fair amount of veg!Remembering every baby is different, I appreciate it wont work for everyone, but for my LO, it’s been an essential purchase.

It worked for my baby!
The product works very well for my baby! I have been using it for 3-4 months now and it has been the only thing that has worked. I was reluctant at first and I have tried everything else as well but this was it! My son loves the taste although a bit too sweet in my opinion, I give it with a medicine dispenser (with the dropper provided it is too difficult to give) and he takes it easily. Now his colics are gone, but I still always have a bottle in the house, just in case! I love it! It has helped us a lot! It is worth trying and seeing if it works!

Worked a treat
Gave this to my 2 month old baby who was having problems with keeping his feed down. It completely changed him and worked so well to calm him dwn when he was fussy and also a significant change in feeding. Its abit pricey but well worth it when results show. I've given my baby the cheaper one but it didn't do anything as much as this. Will be buying this again

Not working for every baby
I don't u understand why this water is so pricey as it doesn't do the job. So much money and my baby gathers gas in his stomach even half an hour after a doze that it doesn't make any difference. We sort of thought him how to swallow this horrible taste but it doesn't work. I am looking for something cheaper and something that is gonna work
