Excellent
We bought the Muted Clay colour and it is lovely. It is exactly like a dry clay, a very soft powdery grey. We were going to sling the wooden chairs and table on the skip, I’m so glad that we didn’t. They’ve come up a treat. I’d recommend 2-3 coats for a good waterproof finish. Everyone has commented and asked if they were new, so it really has given them a new lease of life. We bought two 2.5l cans and managed to do; a massive table, a play house, five dining chairs and two arm chairs and a coffee table. It went a long way. I’d really recommend. It was much more expensive than other stores, usually £20 for 2.5l we bought for £28.99, but as it was hard to get anywhere else we paid the £9 extra per can. I’d definitely use again. I’m even considering painting our fences! It also arrived quickly and well packaged.

Dusky Gem
Good stuff. Dusky Gem is thicker / seems to have better pigment than the white colour of the same range, and goes on really well. Worked a treat on wooden planters and will also be using this for new shed.

Yikes!!!! Should have read the reviews.
Like others on here, I received my two cans both dented and leaking badly. I managed to salvage some of the paint as would have been too difficult to return in this condition. Not only was the surroundings coloured blue, so was the air.

Makes wood look great in the garden
I bought this to protect wooden staging I was making for the greenhouse. It does the job well, but also makes the wood look great. It's a nice matte pastel green which fits well with the greenhouse environment and removes the in-your-face brightness of bare wood. It's easy to apply. I used a two inch brush after giving the can a good shake for a minute or so to ensure the stain was well mixed. Don't worry if it looks a little patchy after the first coat. For me, a second application a few hours later calmed everything down, creating a consistency of colour which allows the grain of the wood to show through. The staging now looks beautiful, and should be protected for a few years of hard use. The wood will absorb much more of the first coat, while the second coat is much easier and quicker to go on. The 2.5 litre can was excellent value over the 1 litre offering, and made are I wasn't in danger of running out and have some left over for refreshing the wood next winter.

Easy to apply but very thin.
This paint is very easy to apply but the trade off is that it is very thin so you need at least three coats, it also doesn't always adhere perfectly to the primer/undercoat causing little globules of paint with the undercoat revealed in between. In some places the first coat peeled off, but the necessary subsequent coats eventually stuck. It's a shame that the paint is so thin because the coastal mist (a sort of duck egg blue) was just the right shade for our summerhouse, see pic. Only time will tell whether the six year guarantee is anywhere near accurate, but I wouldn't expect it.

Cuprinol paint
I thought it slightly expensive, and it cane out lighter than colour on tin. Having said that it was lovely paint and easy to use. I also used it to paint some old planters and a garden bench that was going rusty...so far so good.

Great quality paint
I used this to paint an old wooden garden table. I didn’t sand it although I should have done. The paint glides on and I only managed one coat. It started raining 15 minutes later and I thought no, that’s it I have ruined it. However 3 weeks and several showers later it looks amazing. Still haven’t managed the second coat but it really does not need it. A lovely grey colour, not too dark. Highly recommend.

Not grey!!!
Reason for the low overall rating is due to it being blue but grey!! Good coverage and easy to apply but not grey!!
