Not what I intended to order but OK
Seems sturdy and well made, good bright light, useful stand that is adjustable in various directions to be able to use the magnifying glass. Folds up neatly but I probably wouldn't take it away with me because of the weight (it needs to be a decent weight to stop it toppling over if you set it at an extreme angle) and because the mains cable isn't that long. I meant to order the portable USB rechargeable version and unfortunately managed to pick the wrong one - I didn't realise there were two versions until I received it. A friend recommended the rechargeable version and really rates hers highly. Didn't send it back because I couldnt work out how it went back in the box, and it wasn't really the sellers fault that I didn't read the description properly. Might treat myself to the more portable version in the future.

More flexible than it looks! But died after 6 months
UPDATE:I bought this lamp in June 22. It stopped working early December of the same year. This is my second lamp: they don’t last!I’ve been bed bound for three months (broken ankle and knee). The bad sits comfortably under my right thigh and I can manipulate the arm, and the light and lens easily. Comfortable for needlework and colouring tiny spaces. Perfect.

Very happy with this purchase
Excellent magnification, and with three light settings is ideal for when I am working on my counted cross stitch. Power cable could be longer, but nothing an extension lead will not fix.

Game Changer
I bought this lamp on the recommendation of a friend and am so glad I did.I do a lot of needlework on very fine fabric and this lamp has made such a difference.There are three different levels of lighting and the magnifying glass is perfect for my needs.Folds up and is so lightweight I was able to take it away on holiday.Five stars all round for a great product

I bought one three months ago and it has a habit of turning itself on and off when it feels like it which is no use to anyone.
