Excellent but expensive.

If you find the standard iO brush heads a little too firm, these Gentle Care heads are the answer. They are incredibly soft on the gums no more soreness or bleeding after brushing. They still leave my teeth feeling professionally clean. They click into place perfectly with the iO and seem to last just as long as the originals. Worth every penny for a comfortable, deep clean. Highly recommen. Make sure you have the iO.

This genuine replacement head brush are specially and unique designed for Oral B iO series. Are like a piece of jewelry: the connection to the handle are made it by click and MAGNETS(the head brush have a piece of metal in front of drive shaft), and the strok front and back is FREELY (no friction at all). That it means the round brush are rotating freely = no pressure for the motor, = long life for the motor, = long life for batteries (longer time between charging) or whit different words longer life for the electric toothbrush. I like it. Of course I was looking for aftermarket head brush. They fit well and is working. BUT here's the HUGE DIFFERENCE: They are connected to handle just by click, NO MAGNETIC CONNECTION between handle and head shaft to move it front and back. So, the motor push front the drive shaft VERY HARD because the aftermarket heads shafts are not moving freely like originals. The use kind of sprigs/plastic parts to move front and back wich come with a LOT of tension for the motor, whit a lot of stress for the battery (using a lot of power need charged more often than using originals) Whit aftermarket, on short run, you can save on price ( they are 4-6 time cheaper than originals), BUT because of these tension/friction, on long run you can lose on life expectations of the electric toothbrush (shorter life than using originals head brush) To be honest, I ordered one of those aftermarket head brush, I give it 3 stars because are fit and working for Oral B iO series, but I make attention about theat tension/friction on drive shaft and, of course, I returned. I chose this originals head brush which fits 100% under every point of view and I am Very happy with this product. Now, I let the reader to see wich one fit Very well to its needs. Good luck! December/24/2025, add: for Oral B iO genuine replacement head brush the brush tips are rounded wich is gentle on gum and make the brushing nice and smooth while the aftermarket brush tips are flat/straight wich can be not the best for sensitive gum.
