Globular Cluster Forehead Foam Pad Compatible with Meta Quest Pro- Soft and Comfortable (Black Leather )

I've decided to take the plunge and buy a Quest Pro coming from owning a Quest 2. I wanted to experience MR and AR while keeping what I've invested into the Meta Store for games. First thing upon wearing the Quest Pro is how much by default the comfort is due to the weight balance of the battery being in the back and the much smaller form factor of the front. But of course as an avid VR gamer the Quest Pro was not without its comfort problems after more than 20 minutes of use. Prolonged use made the headset much more unbearable on the forehead as all the pressure is left solely on the top headset instead of around the face. This had left a heavy red mark on my forehead that at times made me feel ill. It was to the point the Quest Pro was not worth it as after prolonged use it becomes more uncomfortable than the Quest 2.I saw this Globular Cluster foam pad product and decided to give it a try. I was still with my return period of the Quest Pro if I did not like it. I do, however, enjoy the Quest Pro for what it is. As a gamer, I just can't bear the fact of how ridiculously uncomfortable the headset can be just because I want to keep playing. The installation of this was very simple and the stock forehead pad was easier to remove than I thought. This product comes with a lot of velcro pieces to ensure a good solid fit on the Quest Pro. Recommendation: Please before installation, see how the stock forehead placement is to reference how to place this soft foam pad. It will avoid any issues seen of the headset not recognizing you're wearing it or other issues. Instantly the comfort was significantly better. Like miles better. It's not a contest. This product is the reason I am able to keep my Quest Pro because after owning the Quest 1 and Quest 2, the Pro is now the most comfortable headset I've worn. To note, I wear glasses. So this pad works very well with those with glasses.I tested this out for a while to see if the comfort may begin to subside after prolonged use. I watched a 2 hour movie in VR and played a little beforehand. Not sure how long but maybe got close to at least 3 hours of use. In that time, I have not needed to re-adjust the headset due to pain every 2 minutes. I took the Quest Pro off my head after a longer session and observed my forehead. There was minimal redness. Of course there's going to be some sort of redness after any prolonged use of any VR headset for most of us. But the biggest factor for me with this pad is I'm no longer in such pain that I wanted to just stop playing. Not only that there was no more of a severe red line across my forehead. Now, for safety it should be ideal to take some kind of break after 2 hours and rest your eyes for like 10 minutes before getting back on. Learned this from the Nintendo 3DS. This will obviously improve comfort for long term use.Bottom line, if you purchased the Quest Pro and are on the fence whether keeping it is worth it because the headset being too uncomfortable to wear do not give it up yet. If you genuinely enjoy the Quest Pro for what it is this foam pad is a REQUIRED purchase. To also notify, and this may need not be for others as comfort for individuals can vary, I do have a KIWI velcro strap that I had purchased back in the day of Quest 1 and now use it for the Quest Pro for improved comfort. This strap combined with the foam pad is all that is needed to finally have a comfort mod that will not cost over $50 total just to play longer.

Literally makes your quest pro not fit on your face. Period lol. This product is an egregious failure

Softer equals more comfortable.Wider equals more comfortable.Just needs a plastic clip to hold in place instead of Velcro. Then it would be perfect.
