Survived Scout camp
This was recommended by another Scout family for the annual summer camp. As my son is new to scouts, and I'm completely clueless when it comes to outdoor activities, we took them at their word. I thought it would be this insanely bulky and heavy thing for the boy to lug around. Nope. Much lighter than I thought, and fairly easy to tote for someone shorter than me. Like my son, for now. And roomy, storing a camp sleeping bag, folded camp chair, portable fan, two pairs of shoes and something else, I forget. Wasn't my job to pack. Oh, this particular footlocker was recommended for its dimensions. It was to fit easily under the cot. Yep, that mission accomplished. A week later, when I picked up the boy, the locker had a few scratches but looked fine. Wheels still on. Hinges still worked.
