The brush and oil make my beard look much better. I have not used the balm very much, but I have no complaints about it.The balm has a slight lemon scent. The oil has no scent, as far as I can tell (though there are some things that I just can't smell).The comb seems pretty nice, but my beard is not long enough for it yet, so I have not really used it.

Bought this as a gift. They love it. A little smaller than anticipated, that could be due to my not reading properly, but still very much pleased with it.

The brush is small but perfect for what I was planning to use it for. Grooming on the go. The comb is a nice wood and makes 0 static. The oil is fragrance free and leaves my beard very soft...... better than I expected. The balm has a pleasant citrus scent and holds my shape pretty well. Great starter kit especially for the price. I wish I could find lager sizes of the oil and balm as I would definitely by this brand again.Would I buy this kit again? Yes because it's cheaper than buying the oil and balm separately. Plus I'd have another brush tho leave in the drawer at my office.

Great little beard starter kit. Comes with beard oil, wooden comb, soft brush, beard balm, and a carrying bag. The comb and brush in my opinion are the best items in the kit. You can probably find better quality products but getting a full set of items to control that crazy beard, its hard to beat the price.

I bought this kit for my husband. He can never let his beard grow out because he starts itching like crazy. All of these products have helped his beard grow long and itch free! The brush helps keep it from curling unwantedly throughout the day and the comb is perfect to use right out of the shower and to use during shape ups.

I actually read the description, so I'm not going to complain about the size of the brush. This is a great beginner set. Husband loves the scent of the balm. For $12 you get a lot compared to other products.

For the price, you aren't going to do better than this kit. Every piece of the kit is functional to good. There are aspects of the kit I don't like, but overall, this kit is quite functional and a solid value.Thoughts:Comb- Nice, solid, useful comb that works well.Brush- Materially, it's well made and it is useable. However, it's quite small and hard to handle unless you wash your hands right after using the balm/oil. If not, you'll struggle mightily to keep ahold of it. Also, it's not a particularly soft brush and a bit scratchy. Again, useable but could use refinement.Oil- This oil is very greasy. To be fair, most oils are a bit greasy but it's quite an effort to get it all off the hands when washing after use. It adds a very slight shine to the beard. Also, you will use more than directed if you have any manner of actual beard; it doesn't go a long way. Finally, it does have a very slight citrus scent to it. Again, functional, but could use some refinement.Balm- The balm is probably the most solid piece of the kit. It comes in a decent tin and you'll get good mileage out of a small amount. There's very little scent to the balm and it does work quite well for shaping. I consider this good to above average.Overall, every single piece works and is useful. I bought this for a travel kit and for that, it's going to be fine. However, as your full kit, this is not suitable for anyone with experience growing a beard.On the other hand, if you've never tried products like this, this kit would be excellent for you to try out and by far the most effective use for this product.In sum:3 stars in functionality4 stars in valueBut it if you're a beginner or need a cheap travel kit. Seek other options or buy pieces individually if you're experienced win these products or you are going to use this full time.Cheers!
