Gutermann Extra-Strong Thread, Bridal White 0111, 100 m

I love this thread. I use it for sewing on doll parts and its really strong and comes in lots of colours too. Definitely worth purchasing if you want something strong but thats not a really thick bulky thread.

I made the mistake of purchasing a mixed box of coloured thread from a well known auction website only to find that the thread was no good for sewing machines. This brand was recommended by a good friend and I have to agree its perfect on the sewing machine. It's a strong silky thread. I am now looking to add more colours to my collection. Recommended.

I dont use this in my sewing machine as its quite thick and machine is so old but its very strong for sewing projects by hand, I use this for attaching arms and legs to soft toys.

Ver strong and does not break when sowing thick material layers

Bought this for my first attempt at making a jointed teddy bear. It was ideal. Super strong, tolerated all the necessary stretching pulls without breaking (less can be said for my poor wrists & fingers though, who knew jointing teddies was such hard work!!) and still allows movement at the joints. Very glad I bought this.

I used this to see patches onto a fencing jacket. It was easy to see on and the patches haven’t moved after wearing and fencing in the jacket since.
