Hades Honey Habanero Preserves

Please MIX a SMALL quantity of this wonderful preserve with your other favorite preserves for unparalleled taste and unique cheese pairing. Otherwise you will seriously burn your mouth and throat (and possibly stomach) even if you are spicy food level 4 eater in a Thai restaurant. When mixed properly, it is a perfect add-on. I bought it as we wanted to pair papaya orange habanero preserve with several French and Italian cheeses, but the preserve got discontinued as some people used it improperly and burned their mouth. So we mix it with many available papaya and orange preserves, replicating the discontinued item. You can find your proper proportion experimenting. Be careful to only offer a very small concentrations to others. Also spices up any standard fig spread for cheeses.

Absolutely love this stuff! The only reason I'm taking a star off is one of the jar lids was popped open and liquid was draining just as another reviewer experienced. I recommend they seal these jars with plastic covering the lids maybe.

There are a lot of pepper jelly products out this one stands out in my mind as the leader. My favorite uses of it are on bratwurst, ribs and with cheese and crackers. It's hot but not obnoxious/painful hot. But remember, it's not salsa. Start with small amounts!

My gosh, where has this been all my life??? The best pepper jelly I've ever had. Now, it is HOT. And I love spicy things and I promise you, I spread like a teaspoon on something and that's it! Little bit goes a long way.

This is the best pepper jelly I have ever eaten. Plenty of heat and delicious pepper flavor in addition. I highly recommend and hope Amazon can get it back in stock soon.

Very hot!

While the order was a bit hot for my taste, I'm giving this a low grade because when it came, the lid was slightly ajar and my entire order was covered in small ants, which, by the time I realized what was happening, was also all over my counter. The strange thing is that it seemed not to be able to be tightened very well, as if the seal was too thick and would not come to a satisfactory closure. I would imagine this is an anomaly, so bad luck for me on this particular jar.

Excellent flavor with a good amount of sweet heat. Perfect for a breakfast biscuit, bagel, or toast. Even kicks PB&J's up a few notches!
