GoingMen Anti Pollution Dust Half Face Mask with 2 Activated Carbon Air Filters for Cycling Skiing Motorcycle Outdoor Sport - Black

The first thing I did when I received this mask was soak it in hot soapy water for a few hours. Then I rinsed it and washed it a second time. As it is made from Neoprene which is quite smelly when new, I did not just wear it out of the packet, which amazes me that some people would do that, hence the complaints. The included filter was hard to breathe through at first, but after 3 or 4 days and a few washes inbetween I think it became easier to breathe through. But here lies the problem; now I am starting to smell car fumes so the filter is on it's way out, but, I cannot find replacements for it which are the same - Ones without the white fluffy lining which comes apart easily. If anyone can suggest where I can buy the exact same filters, I would be grateful to them. In short, it is a good mask for a fiver AND it needs to be washed regularly!

I can really feel the difference on my London commute and busy local town trips. The only gripe I have is that the mask band that goes around your head is a little short which makes it a bit tight for my 17" neck. Replacement filters are easy to find too.

Commuting round the ring road on my motorbike I could feel the pollution settling in my throat as the days went on, giving me a persistent dry cough. A few days wearing this and I was feeling better. Invaluable! There's a knack to getting it settled in my lid but no great difficulty.

At first this was great - an immense upgrade on the previous mask I had (Cambridge mask). Is very comfortable (for a cycle mask) and can be adjusted, and when you remove it you can immediately smell the terrible air that the London commute provides, so it's definitely doing something.But after about 2 weeks, I discovered the front part of one of the two plastic filter things had fallen off, leaving a big hole in the side; by chance I found it on the floor in my room a couple of days later, so I put it back on and thereafter made sure to tighten both filters each day to ensure they didn't fall off. A week or so later, I discover that both front and back parts of one of the filters had fallen out; no idea where the filter fell out.It's all well and good having a decent bit of kit for a few weeks, but this has basically fallen apart twice already, so I do not recommend it. 2 stars on the basis of how good it was before falling apart.

Doesn't seem to want to sit on face comfortably, while riding you constantly have to keep adjusting it's position on face due to sliding down. Quality not bad plastic breathers are a bit clumsy.

Good function, good quality, durability and value for money, butNot a good fit if your face is medium to large, or if you have a high nose bridge.Appears to be a bit too small for the normal Euro male faces.

I have not had a chance to get out and about with the mask yet so it would be unfair to say much about it.

I had black mould in my previous house damaged my lungs I wore this when I was awake home during the day and it really helped.
