Swimming Creatures™ Premium Neocaridina Shrimp – Freshwater Aquarium Shrimp (10, Rili Mix)

These all arrived alive and are so vibrant and cute. I got the mix. 2 are pregnant ! And there where a few babies in the bag. This is my second order from this company. Excellent little shrimp

Ordered the 20 mix premium and received 23. Shrimp arrived early and healthy. There were a few DOA only about 3 and even with that 23 were alive and healthy. Even had 2 burried shrimp and several babies swimming around as well. I didn’t notice them till I put them in a bowl to acclimate. So much cheaper than pet stores near me and these shrimp are so much bigger and more vibrant. They seemingly acclimated well (it’s only been a day). I would definitely buy again and plan on buying more in the near future. Definitely recommend buying from here. I was super skeptical about buying live shrimp on Amazon but they really delivered. Thank you!!!!!!!!

My advice is order early in the week so it comes by Friday or late in the week so it comes the following week. FedEx let these shrimp sit all weekend at the local facility because they had too much freight and didn't want to search when I drove there. In the end they were fine and did arrive by the last of the estimated shipping days. Okay now for the shrimp review! Excellent seller, in fact I'm worried to buy from others after the horror stories; these shrimp are packaged well with heat and it maintained from Wednesday to Monday and was still warm to the touch. I have a video and pictures so see for yourself, but very happy with the the received shrimp. They are premium and it's better to get the 10 premium than 20 random in my opinion. Although I've gotten both from them and out of the 26 random sent, about 19 are still alive. No deaths of the premiums. Bonus - they included one extra slightly smaller one so I got 11 with no deaths... actually no... I got 18! There were 7,7!, babies in the pack and they are super super tiny so be careful and put them in moss after acclimated. I've seen at least one days later so there are baby survivors. Oh and at least 2, maybe 3, are adult sized with eggs (visible saddle on red rili with green eggs and on orange rili with white eggs). All are adult sized except the bonus one and bonus babies. Just harder to tell for me on the rest at this time. I wish this company sold a premium breeder pack so guaranteed proper female to make ratio, I'd definitely buy it. Overall extremely happy with the premium 10 rili pack, in fact I'm trying not to just buy more as I type.

Latest edit: They sent a replacement, so I adjusted the rating. Very pleased with the support, will update once they arrive 🙏 Updated to 5 stars. Why? They sent a replacement after a request. Two didn't make it, but ended up with 10 and 4 babies. Getting rid of the white worm parasite is really tricky for a budget seller. I can't really fault them. The parasite isn't entirely murderous to the shrimp, just in large numbers. Keep a clean tank, don't overfeed, and take out the molts. And the numbers should stay down. Salt bath after a while when the shrimp are less stressed. Overall, pleased considering the scenario. The sellers are nice. The shrimp aren't perfect but for the price, and speed of shipping, and care, they're great. Thanks again Swimming Creatures. Edit: Arrived with PARASITES. Had to adjust my rating down because of it. Very disappointed unfortunately. Several died already within 4 days. Treating PARASITES shouldn't have to come with the package. Didn't want to have to edit this. First Impression: They arrived very quickly, and were cleverly packed with a net to prevent unnecessary exhaustion. Followed the card instructions to great success. They are happy and exploring their new heavily planted walstad home. They are beautiful, deep in colour, and some even have eggs! We're lucky to host our new friends. Thank you Swimming Creatures!

I've ordered shrimp from this business three times. They always like to throw in a few extras or one extra to make sure that you at least get what you ordered. The packaging is absolutely wonderful. They come in a foam box in a little plastic bag and they always have something in there for them to grab onto so they're not as stressed out. The package also comes with a card that explains how to properly acclimate and what to do with with DOAs . I've ordered these yellow backs and I've ordered the Green Jade, and I have also ordered the five and five of amano and snow amano. Colonies arrive healthy, active, they're pretty colorful, and most importantly they are young juveniles: which means they will be small!! (So take consideration into what kind of fish you have!) (I had 2 empty tanks for the yellows and jades over a couple week timeframe for home adjusting) however they still seemed to slowly die out over time.( That could very well be on my part) Plus I haven't contacted the business over it but I will say that is you should probably expect maybe ABOUT half the colony to pass, if not a few. Again, this could be on my part, or it could very well be the delivery/ transit's part, as some of us know how packages can be handled. Regardless, I would still buy shrimp from the seller and plan to in the future lol. But this has been my personal experience, and like I said I have not contacted the business over this because of the time frame. Other than that, I would say that this business is pretty good with how they handle their shrimp and take care of their shrimp :)

I have ordered shrimp from other Amazon sellers before and these were superior in every way. These arrived quicker, alive, had much more vivid colors, and are much more lively. They arrived double bagged and in a cooler two days ahead of schedule. With the other supplier the shrimp arrived in a smashed cardboard box containing a leaky bag full of half dead shrimp.

Considering these guys came from the states to Canada, I am really impressed. Bigger than I thought they would be, beautiful mix of colours and all ten lived. I think there might have been an extra one in there as there looked like a wee cooked shrimp, but really happy with the variety and size of these guys. And such troopers for making the huge journey . I would order again, on a Monday though,,, lol
