Confusing and unintuitive, get something else
While I can't really say whether it's reliable or not (I have it one month and thankfully don't have to use it too often), what I can say with certainly is that I really, really dislike this device and I was seriously considering returning it.It's not that it doesn't its job, it does, but I hate any time I have to use any of the settings zones (there are no buttons, only vague touch "zones") - slow to react, imprecise, slow to react, awkward, not always reacting....Imagine palmtop from '0s with their bad resistive digitiser, now imagine you're using it in your wet gloves. This is about how precise this dehumidifier is.Nasty.Do you want to turn it off? Haha. Touch the "off" zone, wait between half of second to maybe 2 seconds... Will it work? Hopefully. Or maybe not this time.Do you want to change any from the default setting? Sure! Go ahead, whip out the manual because surely you're not going to guess how to achieve it.Do you want to change fan speed? Haha, no, just because (I thought something else but they would delete my review). Do you want to set threshold humidity? Well, there are two touch zones. Feel free to play with them, if you're lucky you will feel like you're changing something. Are you? Who knows, the only sure thing is that it doesn't work. The only two positive things I can say about this device is that it works and it has a large water container (albeit with utterly stupid position-from the rear), but I honestly hope they'll try to get into business of something that actually requires some level of UI testing and crash the business, so they'll stop inventing these dumb, untested interfaces.

Beware if purchasing this item
The product was faulty. From the first time we switched it on, there was a rattle from inside. We thought it might be the unit settling down but the rattle got louder. The seller suggested sending a replacement but said this would take several weeks, and with Christmas holidays could be even longer. We needed a replacement and we got our money back with the help of Amazon. Not sure we would have been so lucky if we had bought direct from the seller. We have now bought a similar item from elsewhere and it works beautifully.
