Great for killing fleas
These are great for a flea problem and used with a regular spot on flea treatment and a decent household spray, I found spot on, by its self wasn’t enough to tackle my problem. How they work is they kill every single flea on your dog and start working in about 15mins but they only are effective for 24 hours, they are safe to use daily but I don’t use them that often but if you also put a spot on at the same time along as the spot on is due and if your vet has approved, it will help with any fleas that jump on after the tablets run out of effectiveness.

Works really well. Watch the fleas die before your eyes.
I purchased these flea treatment tablets for my dog after getting the version for cats to treat my two cats and being super impressed with those. I'm just as impressed with these for dogs. You get six tablets in a box and can give your dog a tablet anytime you see fleas on them, just not more than once in a day. I popped the tablet to the back of my dog's throat and she swallowed it easily but you can mix it in with food if you find that easier. The tablets begin to work in about 15 minutes. I could see the fleas getting agitated as the product got to work. When fleas are dying they come to the surface of a pets coat so you will see them. The product only treats fleas that are on your pet at the time though so any that jump onto your pet from soft furnishings or newly hatched from eggs laid in carpets etc will require a further tablet to treat those. The box states that the product can be used alongside other treatments so we treated with the tablets and then a couple of days later followed up with a spot on treatment for continued protection. For six tablets these are fantastic value as they do a great job of eliminating any fleas on your pet at the time. I will be using these again in the future.

Simple & Instantly Effective
These arrived earlier than expected & just in time. My GS Saoirse had started the 'flea scratch' the day before. As it said on the packet, I gave her one & she was likely to scratch more for an hour as it started to work. That's exactly what happened. She stopped a few mins into our daily amble & embarked on a full blown scratching session in the middle of the road & in view of all passers by who would easily assume she was full of fleas & maybe not just the one flea that was being eradicated as they judged. She's not scratched since. It was no bother administering it, pushing between her clenched teeth & stroking her throat, whilst keeping her jaws closed with my other hand, all the while saying 'good girl, good girl , Saoirse & oh you are the best dog in the world' etc 20 secs later. It was done.

What to do with a dog flea infestation ....
I have 3 cockapoos, no fleas in 10 years then an outbreak, after a few months of failures I found a process that worked for me and solved the problem: 1. Johnsons 4fleas tablets, taken with a ham slice or two after lunch. Kills the fleas and eggs after 6 hours (lasting 24 hours). 2. Boil washed all household bedding and dog blankets soon after. 3. I hot showered the doggies, I dont think it makes any significant difference what shampoo you use, flea related or not. I stuck with a tried and trusted normal shampoo which does not irritate them. Then gave them the dreaded hairdryer so I could manually check and comb out any fleas and eggs. 4. I was told by a vet that flea "treatment" i.e. pipettes they have every 4 weeks should be changed from time to time as fleas (90% are from the home) become immune, so I switched from FIPROtec to Advantage (both from Amazon) and applied the next day (within 24 hours of the Johnsons 4fleas tablets). Treatment was due in a weeks time anyway. Resolved the flea problem .... time will tell for how long.

Easy to administer with a little soft cheese
I give 4 stars as my dogs have just had their 1st tablet today. There does not appear to be any side effect but I’ll have to wait to ascertain whether the medication is effective. We received them very quickly and I administered them with little soft cheese.- no problem. After using for 3 days, there has been a big improvement with the dogs. They have stopped scratching and, thus far, we cannot see any fleas. We are using the tablets in conjunction with household spray. Hopefully, we are getting on top of the problem, thank goodness for the flea tablets.
