Sliding Door Wheel 22MM GH008

Direct replacement for a similar type of steel ball race encased in nylon. Original ball races had rusted badly (I live very near the sea). Easy replacement: just remove the door transom (2 bolts), clamp the wheel screw heads in a vice and shear the old rusty screws with the aid of molegrips on the nut ends. No chance to unscrew them due to rust. Fit the new ones, hacksaw off about 4mm surplus screw, replace the transom, job done. About 20 mins to complete. I see people have had problems with this product. Most likely due to failing to measure the diameter of the old rollers and order the right size. If you're replacing 21mm ones, buy 21mm replacements. If 28mm, buy 28mm ones. And so on. And don't forget to saw off any protruding screw. Otherwise they may bind on the back of the track. If you can, work some grease, or squirt some spray grease, into the roller cage before fitting.

Fit for purpose. Easy to assemble.

Needed to replace. Unfortunately ordered wrong size and returned. Quality seemed good.

Do not buy this product. It is cheap, but more than that, it is nasty. Ok, so you get what you pay for, and these are just two bits of plastic with some ball bearings...The ball bearings are not round, so the wheels do not turn - useless!They also came in that most annoying type of plastic that is almost indestructible - more plastic than the actual product itself.All gone in the recycling - including the product itself.I gave it one star, because I am not allowed to give it none!
