MixSonic 1 Amplified LAN Ready Sound Mixer (PS4/Xbox 360/PS3/PC DVD/Mac)

This is a pretty cool thing. The battery is great, the little amp thing isn't so good. It has buttons for mic on and off but this makes a loud squeek that everyone can hear when you do it. Plus it always wants to make the talking come out of the opposite ear to the wire which the mic is on when I try and use an in ear headset I have - haven't tried it with any other headsets as I don't have any, so I don't use that part anymore. But the battery is awesome! makes the pad last for ages. When the pad gets low on battery just turn on the back pack and it charges right up again, lasts for ages. isn't too combersome, I guess it depends where you grip the controller, if you rap your fingers around the extrusions from the joypad then you wont notice much, if you rest your fingers on the back of the pad you will notice as that's exactly where the battery goes.Not sure how long it will last as the only thing that anchors it to the controller is the micro usb plug, but it doesn't move much so maybe it will be fine.Over all it's cool, but I would probably only buy the battery in hindsight, as the little amp is mostly a gimmick and it's combersome.

I got one of theses for my other controller but just the battery and I would give it 5 stars.so I got another one for my other controller but this time whit the head phone bit again the battery is 5 star BUT the head phone thing is just that A THING the sound is so bad that I took if of after about 20 sec .I don't know why the sound is so bad ( no beyond bad )the only word that I can think of for this is that it is S###save your self about £5 and get the one with just the batteryso 5 stars for the battery 0 stars for the head phone thing

i'v used this with my ps4 using the optic out as show in the instructions, and i've found 2 main issues:1-when i'm in party with my friends they hear themselfs like an "echo" and is messy.2-if i plug the pc audio output in the aux jack in the back i can hear the pc audio (this is the main reason i bouth this device) but if i'm party with someone they can hear it too and is very very annoing.in the end, if you use for playing with friends in party is TERRIBLE, otherwise if you gonna playing alone and you want join 2 audio sources works fine.

I don’t recommend this product for pc players as there is no in put for your microphone to plug into

dont buy it. just, dont. its a waste of time. i read some reviews and thought it cant be that bad, it is. the 'amp' is absolute garbage, adds interference, static, buzzing, and doesnt help with volume. insane how bad it is. battery is helpful, but without the hook of it clipping into the headset amp, it falls out easily.2 weeks after purchase the micro usb charging port came unsoldered. sealed product so couldnt even get in to resolder it myself.absolute, unequivical, trash.Do yourself a favour and dont even take a chance on this.

Does the job of being able to mange your game and chat sound separately however it does lower the audio quality

Didn't find the quality of the audio particularly pleasing with this. As an audio-phile maybe I expected too much from this little device, in the end I went with playing music off the ps4 rather than mixing it into my headphones which was a much neater and better sounding solution.

Easy to fit and operate and it massively boosted the volumes of my headset. Not advisable to use on max due to a) High volumes and B) Slight distortion at the highest levels
