I purchased this product to make hand pies for an event. They were very simply and easy to use. Liked that one side is the cutter and the other is the press. The end product was impressive . These are the perfect size for individual pies. I use them all the time for meal prep. They make it very easy to make a large amount of pies in a short period of time. Also very easy to clean.

These are a great size. There is a small learning curve. I was hoping to use them with my young kids but it was a little beyond their abilities. Filling them with pre-made pie crust and canned filling made it super easy for a weekend dessert.

I went peach picking and bought these molds to make mini pies for my family, friends and coworkers. I found that they were easier to use by disconnecting and dipping each half into flour to prevent the pillsbury dough from sticking. Then I just pressed the top half into the bottom and used my fingers to align the edges after removal. I used an online recipe for mini pies for filling and temperature. If you have patience for the cutouts with many holes, they look very professionally made, but I was making a large quantity and eventually just stayed with the half moon mold with only three coutouts and they were a huge success! I am looking forward to making pies again with the Christmas molds as gifts since everyone was so impressed with my cute little pies!

I went to another retailer, top of the line store for baking needs, for Hand Pie Molds. When I compared what they offered and what was offered through Amazon, I got twice as many molds from Amazon at a better price. I love the size of these molds and my niece who loves to bake is able to use them as well. I love that they can be used all throughout the year.
