Great substitute battery I bought for our Canon SX60HS camera. Fraction of the price of an original canon battery. 1100mah capacity compared to canons 920mah, so you'll get slightly longer use too. Why buy an original battery when you can get around 3 of these for the price of 1 of them! I've used many aftermarket batteries over the years for my canon digital slr cameras with no problems, so didn't hesitate in getting this one. Love it.

I got this as a back-up battery for a new Canon Powershot SX50 HS, having read other users' positive comments at Amazon, and been attracted by the battery's reliability & charge-capacity which they'd experienced. Canon's own NB10L battery (which comes with the camera) had minimal charge on arrival, whereas Maxsima's compatible NB-10L was fully charged on arrival. Both these batteries came with practical plastic covers for the terminals, useful for guarding against accidental shorting & discharge when off camera. Other than that I haven't been able to test this product further as my wife has squirreled the SX50 & associated kit away, so I shall have to add "surprise" to delight when next I see it at Christmas.

I'm always dubious of . I have to say though that this battery, which I use as a back-up for the one shipped with my camera, holds its charge for lengthy period and, short of putting it through rigorous bench testing which may prove to the contrary, performs every bit as well as the Canon original. Well worth the investment.

No difference to original so far since perchace,happy at cost,i bought 2 as i get 'snap happy'..........LOL

I tested Maxisma as well as EXpro in Florida for two weeks and thousands of pictures were taken. It is just as good and lasting as the original Canon battery but for a fraction of the original's price. Highly recommended!

It works OK.The capacity is not quite as good as a 3 year old canon battery, but it's fair for the price.

Does the job fine - a backup battery for my Canon SX50. Works fine - doesn't have quite the capacity of the original (this might improve after a few charges) but perfect for those days when your primary battery runs out of juice and you're in the middle of nowhere. Great value.
