Look good, quality brand, great value
These fitted fine onto my MLS Sylvan pedals. I originally had a steel half toe cage but it rusted a little and broke, so these being plastic of course won't have the rust issue although durability is to be seen, they seem strong and sturdy and match my bicycle colour scheme fine. They do touch the ground when hanging freely so I would expect scratches and wear will inevitably occur due to the bottom bracket not being higher and the pedals not shorter than 170 mm. They are aesthetically pleasing and were great value so I can't complain, bought two pairs for two bicycles.

These have changed my life!!
One of the pear purposes I’ve ever made. I used to struggle on hills as I couldn’t stand up on the bike. These clips have completely changed that. I’m able to stand ok and pedal up hills which has been transformational for my riding and my fitness. They are easy to instal and really sturdy but my only complaint is the nuts unscrew from the bolt really easily so a few times I got home and the bolt was gone. So I’ve had to put in screws. Works just as well. Highly recommend despite this. Thank you

Useful for a bit of power on up stroke and keeping feet in place without slipping
Great for keeping your feet in place on mountain bike, can also get a bit of pull on the up stroke. Just takes a bit of practice and technique to get your foot in on the fly. Took reflector off front of pedal and used nut and bolts to hold on pedal. Second bike I have fitted too. Quite robust, only broke one once before on a raised kerb through a gated field, my fault as pushed to hard while walking it through.

Does the job
Fits on cage pedals. A little fiddly to attach. There is a metal plate to attach in between the pedal and the toe clip however the hole sizes in the plate did not match my pedals (and I bought the pedals new, so I'd expect these to match as most are standard size). So I've mounted without. Still works fine. Recommend you check fixing every once and a while before riding as I lost a screw on the ride. I bought the smaller size as my feet are size 7 however I wonder whether the next size up would have been preferable. Shoe/ Trainer height can make it a little tight.

Nice addition to my bike
I have flat pedals, and as I have been getting better at cycling and increasing my cadence, I sometimes notice that my feet don't stay in the same position in the pedals. I considered going clipless, but I am a bit concerned about such a radical change, so these seemed like a good compromise, and as they are fairly cheap, if I didn't get on with them I wouldn't lose much. They come with screws, washers and nuts, and fitting to my flat pedals was straightforward, I just removed the reflective strip and the screws went in through the now available holes, in all just about five minutes to fit. Riding is better now, as the clips keep my feet in the right place even at high cadence or when the road is rough and jumpy. The only slight issue is getting used to getting the second foot in when starting up, as the additional weight of the clip turns the pedal down, but just a matter of practice I guess. Getting the feet out is the same as not having any attachment to the pedal, so no fear of falling to the side because I didn't manage to unclip!

Good clips, no instructions included
Worked for me. I am quite new to this stuff and had to find out they screw in to the front of the pedal and do not lay on top of pedal. Seemed wierd but it made sense once installed and makes pedalling feel easier and more efficient. I am size 9 shoe and went for the L/XL clip. I may stick some reflecyive tape on the front as I had to remove reflectors to install these. Definitely worth getting for this price and took 5 mins to install but there are no instructions. Update: Worth noting it can slow you down when going from a standing start as you have to fiddle around getting your foot back in the clip as you move off.

Excellent!
Far superior to those (similar) I fitted to my pedals a few years back inasmuch that there is no width restriction, so now I can wear anything up to and including climbing boots when I'm cycling. I bottled out of the Shimano clip-ons that I'd ordered (and received), what with the (according with everyone except the masochistic Tour de France/highly serious/Velcro nutters) that it's not a question of IF I'm going to fall off, but WHEN! And how often! No such problems with these though. Easy to place your feet and easy to disengage. And, of course, you can pull up - not as efficiently, I suspect, as with clip-ons, but I can live without that extra one-percent. Anyway, good kit, good price, easy to fit, easy to use, comfortable, therefore highly recommended.

Downgraded my Daily Commuter
I downgraded from clips to these on my daily commuter; clips were overkill IMHO and limits the shoes that one can use. L-XL fit perfectly for my size 10 foot. Quality product from a recognized name in bike accessories. All required hardware supplied, although I may upgrade to lock nuts at some point. Installation requires a slotted screwdriver and 8mm wrench and can be performed by pretty much anyone; just be sure to tighten them up with tools so that they don't fall off while you are riding!
