Worked like a magic eraser!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was struggling with a organic stain in my pool. I didn't open my pool last year and when I opened it this year it had lots of leaves in it. Their was some holes on my cover. I have tried different products that you get at a pool store. None worked for the walls of the pool. I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to get the stains removed. I came across this product and I was blown away!! It took all the stains out like an magic eraser!! I put some powder in a skimmer sock and rubbed the vinyl wall and as soon as the vitamin C touched the vinyl it instantly came out!!!! You will not be disappointed!

Only way to remove stains in my fiberglass pool
Vitamin C powder aka ascorbic acid is the only chemical that removes the stains on my fiberglass pool. And it is way cheaper than buying it at the pool store.

Perfect and Unexpected Results
I was skeptical and had tried several things that took lowering pH to no avail. I just dumped this into my pool and 24 hours later, it looked brand new. The corners and the areas in front of the jets were stained orange. There most have been a fine layer all over the pool because the whole thing is bright and brand new now. I’m beside myself with happiness. I did not want to buy a new liner but I hated the stains.

Amazing bargain!
I take ~3g of Vitamin C crystals buffered with bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) every morning and every evening. Ratio 4:1, which I THINK follows Pauline's practice (though I can't find the reference now). I take quite a bit more when I think I'm infected with a virus, but that doesn't happen very often.I've never bought a whole gallon (8 pounds) at a time before, but the price was right and the quality seems fine. It might last me close to 2 years, which will take me past the Best Before date, but I've repackaged it in smaller ziploc bags in our cool basement, and I expect it to be good to the last gram. The bucket is a pain to open. Literally. With a pull tab that takes more force to break than my thumb could deliver. Fortunately I reached for my little multitool before I hurt myself and it opened fine.As I was scooping out some of the powder into smaller containers (from previous bulk C purchases), I thought I had hit a big lump, but it was a packet of dessicant! No lumps AFAICS. :-)My only complaint is that the powder is a bit FINER than I like. Not a big deal, but after I spoon out my ~3g with a 1/2t=2.5g measuring spoon, the spoon is covered with fine C powder, like powdered sugar. My favorite bulk C is a bit coarse, and leaves the spoon clean, like ordinary granulated sugar. But that's a small problem, and I'd be happy to buy this again when I finally finish this big batch. :-)

Clear up the discolored minerals in my pool.
I don't usually leave reviews, but this product cleared all the discoloration (goldish colored drippy looking stuff) that was stuck to my pool within minutes. I don't know what type of minerals were in my pool, but it looks beautiful now. Maybe iron in the water. I used the whole 8 lb. bucket. I do have a smaller pool the size of a lap pool. The best part its natural vitamin C.

Try this first, It’s Amazing!
I don’t write too many reviews but I was really impressed with this vitamin c so I felt the need to write one if it’s going to help others in my situation. I accidentally got fertilizer granules in my pool which caused rust stains. I tried so many things and most people spent more time telling me what caused the stains as opposed to how to remove the stains. As a last resort I read about vitamin c and gave it a try and now wish I would have tried it first. It’s Amazing clean the stains right up. Attaching two pictures one shows the vitamin c attacking the stain then the after when I brushed it off.

Gallon Vit C
Better value than tablets or capsules. I consume a half tsp 4x/day to absorb plant iron: after beans and rice X2, and after raw veggies in the nutrabullet x2. Better yet, there's no gelatin, which is made with cow hooves, which are empty calories and animal based. Stays fresh. I'll try their one gallon competitor next order since significantly cheaper.
