Amazing- Best season yet.
Well if you think Season One was good, Season Two is the perfect season. We pick up from the extreme cliff-hanger of Season One's finale, which is solved with a very heart-breaking conclusion. This season shows us how the brothers deal with tragedy, while fighting more monsters. Season Two has some very important revelations that come to light, a lot of questions answered, and even more posed. The introduction of characters Ellen, Jo & Ash is wonderful, and often hilarious. The acting is as ever, superb, the stories are clever, scary and often leave you on the edge of your seat. There are some truly heart-breaking moments in this season, guaranteed to get the tears flowing! Whereas some of the episodes were so funny, I didn't think I'd ever stop laughing (2x15, 'Tall Tales', for example). There are a lot of new things introduced this season, and the 20th episode 'What is and what should never be', in my personal opinion, is the best episode of Supernatural throughout all the seasons. Ackles & Padalecki's acting in this is simply amazing. There was not a single episode in this season that I disliked. We learn a lot more of what is happening to Sam, and we see another side to both of the brothers, with the leads acting all sides of their personalities excellently. I have seen 6 seasons of Supernatural, and this season is unbeatable in quality. If you loved Season One, then watch this as soon as possible. The advice I would offer is to watch it from the beginning of Season One, as this is not the kind of show to get into halfway through, you need to know about the characters and their situation. This season will not disappoint fans. This is the season that introduces vampires, other hunters, and new demons. Exciting from start to finish. The season raises a lot of interesting questions and moral dilemmas that will leave you hungry for more.My personal 5 stand-out episodes of Supernatural Season Two-. In My Time of Dying. Tall Tales. Roadkill. Born Under a Bad Sign. What is and what should never beand it was very difficult to decide, because every episode is brilliant, but these are unforgettable episodes.

A great follow on from season 1
I love this show so much, and after the spectacular cliffhanger ending of season 1 I went straight onto amazon ordering season 2. To me, this season didn't seem to have as many scares as the first, but it didn't disappoint in any other way. Poor Sam has really been through the ringer this season, having to endure several tragedies and hardships while having his unclear destiny hanging over his head. The season resolves itself in a very satisfying way, while also leaving an intruiging concept open for season 3.Special features include:- The Devil's Road Map: Interactive US Map Guide to Urban Legends and Factoids Related to Each Episode, basically a series of short video and audio clips, along with little facts about the making of the show and the mythology it is based on- Jared Padalecki's Original Screen Test For the Role of Sam- Webisode gallery- Gag ReelEven before finishing watching this DVD I was straight on amazon ordering the next season ;PGo ahead and buy this now!!!

Even better than the (fantastic) first season
Second seasons always are a rite of passage : either the show falls flat or it spread it's wings and grow bigger and better. And that is exactly what happens there : the second second anchors the show in a darker, more threatening mythology while vastly expanding the depth of his characters and the challenges of their inner battles. Some episodes are pure comedy, worth laughing all the way through 40 minutes, while some will break your heart and make you realize how the Winchester brother's world will only get darker and darker from there. The two-parts finale is quite simply exceptional and brillant, wrapping up a season that is nothing short of perfect.

Another amazing season.
This season is really really good. The acting is very good and the story's have been very well written. The only problem is that in this season we are starting to get into a story line which lasts the whole season, something which I think, in the later seasons has let this incredible show down. I do the miss the monster of the week way the show was shown in the first season. Still this is an amazing show and is highly recommended.

Keep Calm and Carry on My Wayward Son
Season 2 obviously picks up were season 1 left off, one of the cliffhangers that any fan of supernatural will experience while watching the show. The first episode of the season sets up the initial premise that will provide a foundation for the season. The show retains its "monster of the week" premise which means quite a few of he episodes are filler but many are thoroughly enjoyable. We begin to see both Sam and Deans characters become darker as they deal with their fathers passing and initial loss of the colt. In my personal opinion season 2 trumps season 1 as it has a better balance between filler and plot relevant episodes. Some episodes will also prove to be of significance when rewatched after viewing up to season 5. For example pay some heed to the episodes "Houses of the holy" and "Croatoan" The final two episodes set in motion a series of events that will be the portal to the rollercoaster of a ride that is Seasons 3,4 and 5. If you enjoy the monster of the week premise then saviour this season as it is downplayed after this season, replaced by more plot significant episodes later on. Enjoy what I think is one of the greatest shows of all time
