holds the 8x10 board would not recommend the larger board unless you have two of them. easy to use and attach but board wiggles a little and tends to lean sideways some, my board originally did not have the hole in it, but my husband took the board out to the garage and fixed that

I wondered about this with the reviews that I read, but found that using the LoRan Magnetic Board which has a hole in it that it works with this and stays firm in place. I put the hole in the LoRan Magnetic Board at the bottom and slipped it between the tension pieces and found that the hole of the Magnetic Board is the same size and position of the tightening screw. I loosened the screw out so that the hole in the board aligned with it and then tightened back up and it keeps it stable. The board sits at the bottome of the tension pieces and with the tightened screw is stable.

I am very unhappy with the holder. It is not designed to hold the board. I have added tape to my board and it did not help. The boardbecomes top heavy and falls off of the holder. Not a good value for me.
