Triethanolamine (Tea) for Cosmetics 250 mL 99% pH Balancer, Surfactants DIY Skincare and Cosmetic Products by Talsen Chemicals

I used this to make salicylic acid TEA salt of salicylic acid (trolamine salicylate). I wanted to put this into a DIY pain relieving cocoa butter based balm. Once turned into the trolamine salt it was no longer soluble in the cocoa butter and phased out (10% trolamine salicylate). It did solidify upon cooling with mixing into what appeared to be a homogeneous slam. The trolamine salt approach would be good for doing a water based cream prep. I'm going to go with methyl salicylate (methyl ester of salicylic acid) next time. Apparently this is as bioavailable and effective as trolamine salicylate for pain relief.

This was one of the ingredients needed for one of my projects. I was able to weigh a 3 ml syringe and then tare to zero then add the exact amount needed by filling the syringe to desired amount. Worked as intended.
