What is the strength of this? Seems like its more of a solider then a true weld. Will this work on automotive?

I was disappointed in the product and returned it. It wasn’t even a good solder product.

Can you weld aluminum tubing together with this?

I have weld aluminum rectangle rifle magazines with no problem,but welding tubing, maybe,I dont know,you have to try.

Grate price for the amount of rods . But they are small .

I am a certified welder with years of experience, bought this for a small job joining an inner sleeve to an aluminum bulkhead. Anyway, all steps were taken for a successful joining, yet this product did absolutely nothing but ball up under temp. Flux would burn off and it would create nice little clumps of rod material but would not stick - to anything. I tried it on several grades of aluminum, with a variety of tactics and could not make it work on any of them! Total waste of $$
