This aluminium laptop desktop stand would work beautifully for the job it is intended (and I may be back to buy one for that purpose). However, we needed something sturdy that could hold a metal plaque for a commemorative tree. The base has been buried in the ground, leaving the 'laptop' sloping part visible and very stable. We then superglued our plaque to the four nodules on this exposed surface, giving us a very professional and attractive looking display for the plaque. Think outside the box - this is a product that could work in a number of situations (but would be an excellent laptop desktop stand).

As I work from home needed a piece of kit to raise the level of the lap top closer to the screen extension. Device was smaller than anticipated but fits my small desk better! Lip to hold laptop is not huge and although very stable with modern slim machines, an older/bigger machine may not fit securely. Good solid piece of kits. Looks streamlined and space underneath now to slide keyboard/mouse pad etc. when need more table space. arrived quickly and does what it says on the tin.

I recently changed jobs meaning going from working in an office to working from home. I find myself to be most productive with multiple screens with a dedicated keyboard and mouse. So I was looking for an ergonomic laptop stand to bring my laptop screen to eye level.Shopping around I found many options some costing up to £40 which quite frankly is too expensive for a piece of metal to elevate a laptop.This stand is an absolute godsend, not only is it more affordable than some of the other options on Amazon it's of a very high quality in terms of machining. It fits in nicely with the Apple design, which for a Mac user like me is a bonus the colour being matched to Apple's Silver or Space Gray. However functionality wise this would be more than suitable for any laptop computer, not just a MacBook.Not really much else I can say apart from it's a well made stand that does what it says on the tin, it brings the laptop screen to eye level and looks good at the same time.Would highly recommend considering this stand for your desk setup.

I’m really at a loss as to how to rate this given the criteria: Sturdiness, Warmth and Thickness.Sturdiness: it seems well made enough. A bit wobbly, but nothing wedging a Rubik’s Cube underneath doesn’t solve.Warmth : quite the opposite it keeps my Hungry MacBook Pro (2018) reasonably cooler than sitting on the old desk.Thickness. About 3mm aluminium bent into a pleasing shape.

This sturdy platform will hold your MacBook Air safely at a height more suitable for regular long-term use than the average table height. You can elevate the platform on books if need be until you reach the perfect height for your comfort. You will need to purchase a separate wifi keyboard though, otherwise your arms will ache rather than your neck!

I bought this to lift my laptop to a better height ergonomically when using it on the desk for extended periods. It's clearly a 'low tech' item, but does what it purports to well - height is about right, it has small rubber pads to hold the laptop in place and protect the casing from surface scratching, and the unit is well finished with rounded, tidy edges.Happy with the purchase.

Put your laptop up on this and you will keep it cooler and give yourself somewhere to put your papers or store your keyboard. This is solid and smart-looking - no regrets here over it. The only thing it could possibly use would be somewhere to attach the inevitable cables so they are more convenient to reattach, but hey, it's a laptop stand, not a docking station.

Very pleased with this stand, it holds an old HP laptop really well and is very sturdy.
