Less expensive products potentially prove costly
Blue-Max bandsaw replacement tires appear well made; only time will tell about durability, but other belts offered on the Amazon website that are far cheaper are highly suspect. A unique "tool" that is included with the Blue-Max belts makes installation far far easier, a chore that's never easy, plus is time consuming. Blue-Max suggests heating the belts in hot water and then pre-stretching the belt. I did and it works like a charm. Soaked in 170 degree hot water for about 5 minutes. Blue-Max tech-support says "pull as hard as you want, they're very strong, they won't break" and it held true. Belt-loupe stretched approximately 1 inch, from 18.5 to 19.5 which make installation far easier. Included "tool" added to installation ease (a task that is never easy, per se).

Fit my Central Machinery 14in bandsaw. Didn't get instructions, but installed okay.
Replaced my Central Machinery bandsaw tires that were really cracked after 18 years. These fit, but barely. The thickness is the same as the old ones (0.108") but these Blue Max tires are wider, 1.01 inch versus the old 0.94 inch tires. The wider tires just barely fit in the wheel groove between the flanges, so they should really grip well.I didn't seem to get any instructions, but here's what worked.1. Get the tire started in the outside groove for about half the circumference of the wheel, then use some non-marring clamps to hold it in place.2. Use the included tool (it helps a lot) to get between the wheel and tire and stretch it into place. Take the clamps off and run the tool around the wheel rim between it and the tire to help stretch the tire more evenly. It takes a little effort, but the sleeve on the tool turns, so it's not too bad.3. Turn the wheel by hand, and tuck the tire into the groove anywhere where it is not seated and riding up over the flanges. This was the hard part, because of the slight extra width. The finished result works well. I may use a set of these on my JET saw.

clear instructions 15 minute install
the instructions included were super clear on what to do. If you have ever changed a bicycle tire it is easy . the instructions said to use a c-clamp to hold tire to wheel so used a wood clampmaking sure not to pinch tire . used the tool which is a simple dowel with a nail and a plastic sleeve to work the tire on while slowly pushing tire into position onto wheel then used the tool one revolution to even out the streatch of the tire then carefully seated the tire into the groove in the wheel . super easy.only addition on my particular jet bandsaw i found it necessary to remove the lower wheel cover to get good access to the wheel once this was done the bottom one was easier than the first . start to finish 15 minutes even with srewing the cover back on . never changed tires before so happy it went so well

Jet Wheels - worth the price and wait.
Needed to replace the tires on my Jet 14" and I got these. I like them a lot and looks like they will are a very good product and I highly recommend them. I should have replaced the tires a few years back. A strong piece of advice. Ignore the tool and installation instructions that come with the tires. The chintzy tool and clamps don't work and will cause nothing but aggravation during installation. The only easy way to install these is with a second set of hands. They install "relatively easily" with a helper. Once on, there is no way that you are going to use the little tool provided to stretch and true the tire. Just use your fingers and work the tire into the wheel groove. Once done and blade reinstalled, ran like a champ.

Fits perfectly
Jet JWBS-14CS Band saw tires. Did not use hot water to soften and stretch, but did use included tool to get the edges in properly.

very easy to get on
a really good quality band and it was really easy to put on. Go online and watch a few people then put it on. I soaked mine in warm water and it went on easily.
