Simple and works as expected
Not sure why there were some negative reviews but it was very easy to setup and overall simple design and most importantly works as expected, happy with the purchase.

Backlit doorbell, solid purchase, very happy
Pretty solid replacement for a defunct doorbell. Was able to use the existing wire and just swap out the button. Really like how it's backlit so people can find it in the dark.

Cheap, works but mine was missing the fixing screws.
Bell push arrived with the fixing screws missing. I needed the bell to work so just used some of my own instead of returning it. So the quality control isn't the best. It is a bit tricky to fit I found the bell wire kept sliding out from beneath the terminal screws and would have benefited from a spring or ridged washer. It is a cheap bell push and does work, which the old one didn't, it is just annoying that the fixing screws were missing.

My old one just went dong, this goes ding and dong
Bought to replace one which was wired into the mains, anyone touched it got a shock. Plenty of bodies piled up at the front door but no one complained so replaced it for this one. Joking aside It fitted well has a nice back light and is smart. Works a treat if you have existing wires. No need for a subscription, no cloud support, no data sharing across the globe doesn't have any smart features, just goes ding dong as a doorbell should.

Only buy this is you are very patient
The Byron bell is so badly designed, with fiddly parts that tend to come apart, when you touch them. It starts when you try to separate the casing, it feels like you're going to break it because it's that tight. The screws that are supposed to hold the wires in place are useless, because they have no serated washers or retaining slots, so when you tighten the screws, the wires come out. If there was ever anything simple that had been overcomplicate, then this is it. After repeated attempts to feed the wires through the first connector, that incidentally, you have to unscrew initially. Then you still have to push the wires into the second connector. There's nothing securing the bulb so expect to lose that as well. I gave up and threw it into the bin and I'll buy one that isn't so badly designed.

It’s cheap for a reason but does work
Be careful removing cover (flimsy plastic) and only clip back on if you’ve test and happy with the connections. Not much room inside for wires without catching the switch internals.
