Great to dogs or owners who are a little nervous about cutting their dogs claws or ones where you only want to take off a little especially if you cant see the blood supply in the nail. Having the length protector is great so only a little can be taken off. This can be removed if more needs to be cut. Both the cutter and the file are sturdy and very fit for purpose. Highly recommended,
