An improvement on the pump supplied with the tank. Recommended on YouTube and I can now also recommend.

Thanks to those who commented they'd replaced their Fluval 57 pumps with this.We have a Spec 57 and the pump has been driving me absolutely nuts for months and months, gets noisier each time it's cleaned. Sometimes it sounds like a playing card stuck in bicycle spokes?Took a chance....It's a similar size (phew!), if not slightly smaller, which is great as the housing on the Spec 57 is tiny.Very easy to take off the tubing from the Spec and insert onto the new pump, although a few mm too short so 2 of the suckers don't quite stick to the bottom of the tank, but it's absolutely fine. I'll remedy this on next clean.So.... noise???? It is described as silent and it's not far from it ....it has a low hum. I'm sure I won't notice it at all when the TV or music is on.Together with our new silent air pump, the fish tank no longer sends me up the wall .... previously it competed with the television, it was that loud!Flow.... I set it to max and it seems the same as the Spec, maybe a tiny bit stronger. The Spec used to decrease flow fairly quickly to almost zero and needed cleaning regularly.This just seems an all round much better pump. Well worth the cost for sanity alone! Thank you again.

This thing is tiny, way smaller than I expected but it really does its job. I bought it to replace the stock pump from a Fluval Flex 57 tank and this is far more powerful. It's not silent but it is still quite quiet.

Totally different pump as to what’s listed in the boxThe same if not worse than the flex 57 pump it’s intended to replace. Really annoyed don’t wast your money.I have a flex 34 which is silent next to it and a flex 123 with a big reef pump that’s quieter than this junk

Got this for my Fluval Flex 57l, there was no issue with the original pump but I wanted something with a higher flow rate without having to go external.Fitting it was a breeze, soon found the flow rate I was after and that was that.Even took the opportunity to rescape the tank whilst all the occupants were out.

why are the 300 the 600 and 100 pumps so expensive on amazon compared to other sites selling them.the pumps are great well made and work well and are really quiet but the pricing here is high.

These are cracking little pumps. Replaced the noisy pumps in my fluval flex 57 and aquaone Betta trio as a direct replacement and they are amazing. The flow control is also a bonus.
