Is it supposed to come with a cotton pad on the filter? Mine doesn't have one

We are phasing out this white cotton pad from our Jolie Filtered Showerhead and Replacement Filters as this piece is not necessary for filtration. This way filter replacement will be as easy as swapping out your old filter for a new one!
