Good Coffee from a Newark, NJ staple
Some of the best coffee around. I buy from Wards all the time. A Newark, NJ treasure.

Delicious!
Ive brewed this in our pour over and my travel drip coffee brewer and it came out delicious every time. The bag didn't last as long as our standard run of the mill coffee does in this house because we kept making cups It's not bitter and as a nice sweetness to it. It paired REALLY well with the vanilla creamer I use. Over all delicious and its going on my "yum" list

Pretty good coffee
I enjoyed this coffee! It is very mild in scent and flavor. Smooth, not overpowering or bitter. Brewed it in my Keurig and it tasted good! I prefer something with a bit stronger flavor to it, but overall this one was not bad, especially if you like a milder blend.

So far so good - needed a little more than usual
I like my coffees light to medium roast = more caffeine. This coffee does not disappoint although I must mention that I had to use an extra 1/4 of a scoop to get the color and depth I was looking for / used to. The coffee has a great flavor to it, not too punchy and not overwhelming. If you know coffee, you will know that deeply bitter is a bad thing and this is not bitter like the big box guys. If you drink your coffee black, this is a really good choice. If you add cream / sugar, you might find it a bit light for your tastes in flavor, then again perhaps your intent is to cover up the taste of your coffee? Anyways, if your a black coffee drinker I give this 5 stars, if your a cream/sugar kinda person, it's more of a 4 star. Pick your poison, but good cup of Joe for sure.

Nice Chocolate Flavor
I usually like dark roast coffee's but do like to drink a good medium roast sometimes. I used my reusable kcup pod in my keurig to brew it. It came out smooth and not bitter with some hints of chocolate but I felt it wasn't strong enough for me so the next time I added more coffee and it was alot better. I think this is a great coffee for anyone that likes light to medium roast with hints of chocolate. It is also a good price and is right in line with what you would pay for coffee in the grocery store and actually cheaper than some.

Not bitter, slightly sweet
This coffee smelled amazing, both in the package and once brewed. It had a slightly distinct sweet smell. I am not a black coffee drinker but I tried it black to see, and it was not quite as bitter as the regular coffee I drink (store brand medium roast). It also tasted slightly sweetened. It was a little more pale than the coffee I normally drink. I made some my normal way of having coffee (with a pack of hot chocolate and some cream), and it definitely enhanced the chocolate flavor, but it didn't taste much like coffee, it was a not very strong or bold at all. Overall though, quite tasty.

A lot like dark chocolate
This coffee sounded like it would be a good one to try, I usually look for coffee flavors that include cocoa, and this one had that in its description.I brewed it in our siphon pot. I taste a strong dark chocolate taste in the front with some other flavor in the background that's hard to pinpoint (maybe it's the "wild naranjilla").My dad tried it as well and he instantly tasted dark chocolate (without me telling him what the flavors are advertised to be). It has a bit of a sourness as well but my dad pointed out that that's like the fancy dark chocolates we've tried. It's not my favorite coffee but it's good. In my opinion it tastes best piping hot.

A great burst of flavor out the bag
The first thing that hits you is just how great this coffee smells when you open up the bag. Not having tried a Costa Rican variety before its pretty new to me as a consumer. I did like the over all bite and the amount of caffeine notes hit the right spot. But it kind of lacked in the over all product compared to just how good it smelled. Maybe I was expecting more and was hoping for something to just hit at the level I wanted. Overall its not a bad coffee, I am going to finish the bag for sure.
