Nano Coffee Scale with Timer, Espresso Scale with Auto Tare, Touch Sensor and Silicone Cover

Don't waist your time! Buy it, you won't regret it! I had a big kitchen scale for the longest time and having to change batteries sucked. I decided it was time to upgrade. I gave the product a few months before reviewing it and it's still running great! It comes with a rechargeable cable, timer and a automatic timer for pour over coffee.. Since I use it to pull shots out of a Gaggia classic, I dont use the automatic timer mode. I use a bottomless portafilter it fits perfectly. Don't hesitate, order it!

Based on a number of negative reviews, I was tempted to pass on the Nano Coffee Scale. Glad I took the chance. This scale is the perfect size to use under the cup when measuring out espresso shots.In all fairness to those who left negative reviews about how to operate the scale and how the scale appeared unstable or unpredictable, I had the same issues at first. I think reading how all the functions work made everything appear far more complicated than they are. When I re-read the instructions (which are very well-written), I realized I was over-thinking everything. Operating the scale is far easier than it sounds in the user manual. The last thing that may throw some people off is that the display does not respond instantly when you tap a button, giving you the feeling you may have missed and tempting you to over-tap. Give it a second and everything falls perfectly into place.What I love. . . I turn the scale on, place it under the brew head, put a cup on it, wait for it to automatically tare and set to 00.0, start my extraction. When I stop the brew, the shot timer and the final weight display automatically stop at the same time. Perfect.

Scale is super easy to use and clean. Quick readings help for accurate dosages.I had to reach out to customers service and to my surprise, the correspondence WAS WITH A REAL PERSON whom replied in a timely manner, was kind, and helped me resolve the issue with out any grief.

I tested out the scale with a small handful of unpopped popcorn kernels. 10 kernels exactly. everytime i would put them on the scale, i would get a different reading. The readings varied anywhere from 0.9 g to 1.4 g, a half gram difference. Sure I won’t be brewing coffee with only 1-2 g of beans, but still, the inaccuracy should not be this high. Sometimes, it would even show a random number when removing the kernels from the scale bed, when it should have shown 0.0 g. Maybe I got a bad unit.I was considering waiting a day or two to test it with actual espresso brewing too, but during my popcorn kernel testing, the tare function started acting up. I could press the tare button, and the machine would beep like its registering a button press, but it would not actually tare, and kept the reading on the screen.Also I’m not sure how to disable the auto timer on this, and resetting the timer didn’t always work either. I don’t wanna time when I weigh out my beans, and don’t want the timer already started before brewing. Just a small nitpick, I don’t mind working around that by turning the scale off between weighing my beans and weighing my shot, but it could be a bit easier.

This is the first dedicated coffee scale I've owned but I've owned several cooking scales in the past and I have a bit of experience using them. I like this scale a lot. It gives the user the choice of deciding whether or not to use the automatic functions and it has been accurate and rock steady when compared with my other scales. If I had any complaint, it would be that I'd like to see it respond a little faster. Some people complain that the timer function only starts when liquid hits the cup but this shouldn't be an issue. Simply add your pre infusion time to the total and you should be good to go. If this doesn't work, you can use the manual timer function as well.All in all, it's a great little scale, if a bit slow, and gives the user a good set of features to choose from. Great, great value for the money.

I've had another digital scale thats been working for more than ten years, and I had similar expectations for this one, but it has just reached a point where the battery simply won't hold a charge.

I have tried many compact scales to fit under my Rancilio Silvia. Several were more expensive than the MiiCoffee Nano and they struggled with the auto-sense function and were returned. They would all count manually, but many times would never sense coffee in the cup and would display zero while the weight showed properly. The only quirk with your model is to go from default PR2 to PR1, the double-click has to be done more than once. Once PR1 shows, it awaits the cup & the tare zeroes out the weight & the "T" symbol shows next to the time display. I begin to brew & both the weight & time increase as they were supposed to. The protective pad is also a nice feature. I was so impressed by a scale that actually works, that I have purchased your tamper, WDT tool & puck screen since. A scale that counts weight & time properly - what a concept! MiiCoffee got it right!

The shape does not let coffee soak in anywhere, the only seam is underneath. I spill on it and I clean it off with a wet towel. The timer is essential for a home barista. There are settings for grams and ounces, and the timer and tare touch buttons are right in front.
