Is it me or does this cream have a foul odor when you first apply it to the face skin?

I have used a few jars of day and night Weleda Skin Food cream. It has never had a foul odor, only fresh and clean.

Does the Weleda day face cream contain any sun block?

We want to share that we do not have sun protection in Weleda products. There are many fine ones available that can be layered over our creams. Sunscreens are a heavily regulated product and must meet the requirements in the USA. We continue to do research in Europe where our products are made, on sunscreens.

Is this cream also anti aging wrinkles especially since I am in my 60’s?

You had me until i looked up the ingredients. squaline is derived from shark liver? really? please elaborate.
